Advantages: Funky colours

Disadvantages: Poor elastic, painful seams

As a regular wearer of M&S knickers for many years I have been rather disappointed with the standard recently.

I usually go for the 5 packs of cotton knickers which I have always found very comfortable - until recently. The last couple of packs I bought were of a very poor standard when compared to the ones I have bought in the past and the price has not reduced to reflect this.

The elastic can barely be called elastic as it hardly has any stretch and even seems to be quite scratchy material! The seams on each side are now considerably bigger than they have been in the past causing them to dig into the skin which can be quite painful at times. Even the cotton itself is thinner than it used to be.

Had I bought these knickers elsewhere I may have expected this quality I am used to better from M&S.

Overall the knickers are not bad but they are not what should be expected of M&S!
