“ Brand: Marks & Spencers / Type: Pyjamas „
The other day my parents came down as I had an all day hospital appointment for some tests. It was expected that afterwards I wouldnt be very well at all and would probably need bed rest which turned out to be correct and in fact a few days after the tests I had Im still in bed rather unwell!
Due to the nature of the test I had to have done and the ones I now expect to have in the future we knew I was going to have a bloated stomach and due to the illness I appear to have my tummy is rather swollen and in recent months I have experienced some weight gain going up from about a size 10 to between a 12-14 and my mum felt that I needed treating to some new, better fitting and roomy pyjamas and things so prior to the appointment took me into town and straight into Marks & Spencers and Bhs to treat me, a thing I was very greatful for believe me!
Mum spotted these 3/4 length pj bottoms costing £9.50 a pair and with other items the offer on at the time was buy one item from a few get one half price and she bought me a few different items (this deal is still running at this moment in time to).
These come in sizes 8-22 and in several different designs but these of course are as you see them on the top of this review photograph and thats in a mainly cream shade with pastel light pinks and greys in different shades to give a checked effect all over the bottoms and then the band inserted into the waistband is the same colourscheme and spotty and they sit up on the waist. These are not elasticated but seem pretty true to size to me and sit just below my knees on my 5.8ish frame and the legs are wide leg though not too wide they flap about or anything adverse like that!
These do not have a lot of give in them and do not give even though I wash and wear mine often. They are made from a thin lightweight cotton (these are 100% cotton by the way excluding the trims), not see through at all and are fully machine washable and tumble dry safe and I havent found these to shrink or fade or anything like that and due to the material that they are they are suitable for ironing as the pattern is integrated into the material rather than transferred on.
Course these are a mix and match item and come with no top with them as they are not bought as a set and my Mum bought me some t-shirt style tops and all in all I think these are a lovely pair of pj crops that are comfortable to wear, nice and flattering to look at and above all comfy on these warm nights we have been having lately and so they get the thumbs up from me!
Only available from Marks & Spencers and as usual these are a great quality and value item!
