... and lots of the jeans in the mail order catalogues are quite expensive, often being over £30. All I really wanted was a plain pair of jeans to wear around the house and when just popping out so I did not want to spend too much.
Last year I ordered two pairs from the M & S website to try them for size - I ordered size 14 and 16 in medium length.

Some years ago I was given a gift voucher to spend at Marks and Spencer's. At the time I needed some new jeans and decided to take a look even though I didn't really expect to find any decent ones at a reasonable price. I was, however, pleasantly surprised. I purchased two pairs of their stretch bootcut jeans at an excellent price and they have lasted me for years. In fact I am still wearing them now on a regular basis. Last year I started a part time office job where I am allowed to wear jeans so I decided to treat myself to some more from Marks and Spencer's.
