Tight fitting leggings that are pretty unforgiving!

Recently I had a right kick out of my wardrobe. I simply thought it was time for an update and I really do love leggings. Just before Christmas I spotted these 'Melrose' leggings reduced from £25.00 down to £7.50 a pair in my Freemans catalogue and online (www.freemans.com) and loved the look of them online (the photograph you can see) and I decided to take a look at a pair seeing as they were so reduced and in the end I did end up keeping them.

These leggings are a very dark black in colour and are made from 92% Polyester and 8% Elastane. They are very shiny giving that shiny, wet look appearance that you can see on the photograph and they have a very gently elasticated waist, but really these are meant to be skin tight leggings and I do find that even after wearing them all day long and that they never give me a baggy bottom or go baggy at the knees.

Excellent quality, these are ruched to the outside leg of leg which partly comes to the front of them to giving a creased kind of look and the bottom of the leggings go slightly ruched too. With a length of 30½ ins, I'm 5.9 and find these to skim my ankles and either I wear them with knee high boots or strappy heels as with some footwear they are a little on the short side on me however if you are shorter than I you should be fine with these and even if they are little long on you, you get away with more 'gather' to the bottom of the legs as that just adds to the ruching effect that is given anyway.

Easy to care for these really are, they are fully machine washable thought not suitable for tumble drying and they really don't need ironing as they are so slim fitting creases fall out as you put them on.

In sizes 6-18 I feel these are pretty true to size but at the time of writing this review Freemans only have the size 6 at the price I have stated already left however they may get more sizes in soon but again note some of the options are £25.00 a pair for some reason and only the smaller sizes seems to £7.50 for some reason!

A nice legging, if interested do google and for going out and looking a bit sassy these are great!
