Advantages: Does what it says on the packet - 10lbs lighter in 10 seconds

Disadvantages: Expensive but worth it

When I read about the Miraclesuit, I thought it would either not work at all, or be made of that stuff that takes 5 hours to get into and another 5 to get out of - think "tummy control pants" - remember them - you went to the toilet at a party and spent the entire remainder of the party hopping up and down trying to get your pants back up with out destroying the cubicle. However when the aforementioned miracle item arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that it slipped on very easily. I was even more pleasantly surprised when the promised 10 lbs appeared to have disappeared. I then tried on the considerably cheaper "tummy control" swimsuit that I had ordered and - well it just didnt work at all. Miraclesuit won hands down.

The Manufacturers say look 10lb lighter in 10 seconds and they are right. It really is easy on easy off and an easy way to look that little bit more trim.

Apparently it is "made from Miratex, a luxurious high performance fabric that delivers three times the holding power of ordinary swimsuit fabrics" and is 31% lycra. However - if you try on an ordinary swimsuit, Im not sure that they have any holding power at all.

The other good thing about the miraclesuit is that although it has a wrap layer, a second fabric layer so that your skin is skimmed, it doesnt appear heavily runched.

Miraclesuits are more expensive than your average cozzie - they are on figleaves for over £100 and are currently in Additions catalouge reduced from £105 to £84 - but then, I wouldnt be seen dead in an average cozzie, so anything that I spent on it would be a waste.

One small word of warning - for the cherry red colour - read "hot pink" or stick to black.

I have not tried this suit out in chlorine either, but I would imagine that you would want to rinse thoughroughly and straight away in order to retain the miracle!
