I bought this top a couple of weeks ago, it wasn't for a particular reason, I just saw it, and I liked it so I bought it. At only £14 I didn't see it as being to expensive so I didn't mind not trying it on. As it so happens I turned out to absolutely love this top.


Although in the picture above it doesn't look that nice, the top actually isn't like that. The picture looks like it is very out there but the patterns are not as close together as the picture looks and the top as a whole looks nicer on. The top is a mixture of colours really, the main being white, blue and orange. I must admit it is a little bit of a loud top but it really isn't as over the top as it looks in the picture. I just need to clear this up because in all honesty, the picture provided by dooyoo makes this top look hideous.


This top is available from the George range at asda and is available in sizes 10 to 24 which I think is an excellent range. I also think that due to the styling of this top it would be suitable for all sizes. The arms are three quarters and the neck line is pretty low cut enabling only the naturally smallest parts of the body (the neck area and forearms) to be on display. Because of the design of the top it is noticeably slimming immediately taking a dress size of your body. When I first wore the top my mum commented on my weight loss when in fact I hadn't lost any weight at all.


The top is very fitting and it also has a tie which starts at the front at the top of the stomach area, this then goes around the back to be tied. This, I think really enhances the bust area if tightened properly, it really sucks the stomach area in giving all of the due attention to the top part of the body.


The top is also really good quality for George, the fabric feels nice, it's a little bit thin but it's not a huge problem. I have washed and ironed this top several times and it is still in great condition which is not always the case with George clothing. I personally think this top looks best with leggings or jeans due to the fact that the top is baggier towards the bottom end but it could be worn with anything, it's a top that can look smart or casual.


Overall I really like this top, I like how it's so slimming and I also love the bright bold colours. Please don't judge this top by the picture; because it really is a bad picture, this top is actually very nice and very flattering when worn.
