However I did wear them for a few hours in one go (I was on an elephant ride in 35 degree heat, not ideal!) and found that once you get hot wearing them it's extremely hard to cool down again. That is the only negative thing I can say about them, but it's unlikely you'll get that hot in this country anyway!

I purchased these just before a holiday to Thailand as I was in desperate need of some short shorts that I could just throw on but not be too hot while wearing them. I came across these in Topshop and at £22, they're no where near as expensive as some of the other shorts they sell, although this is probably because these are more like hot pants. Nevertheless, I wasn't going to moan at the price. They have labeled them in waist sizes instead of size 8, 10 etc, and I purchased a w"32 and they for nicely, not too loose and not too tight.
