I tend to wear jeans in the winter all the time for all occasions really, going shopping, going for a meal, going to watch the football or just to generally relax in. I never normally have bootcut jeans or even New Look ones. However, I went into my local store and saw that they were only £9.99 and I couldn't resist the bargain considering I normally only pay about £25 for Red Herring ones so I was a bit cautious at how these would be. I love shopping in New Look for tops and jewellery but this was this first time I decided to by a pair of dark blue bootcut jeans.

--- Sizes and Colours ---

The jeans were available in light blue, dark blue and black. I only ever wear dark blue jeans so I stuck with the colour that I normally have. The jeans were available in sizes 8-16 so provides for women all sizes. The leg lengths on the jeans are 28" , 30", 32", 34". For me this doesn't really matter about the leg size because as I am only 4 foot 9 I have to have the length taken up on them anyway. As they are bootcut though I recommended that you go for the next length so they don't look like they have shrunk in the wash.

The sizes are good and I found with my size there is a bit more room to breathe in them. Which will make and women feel good to think that they are losing the inches around the waist. Often with new jeans they tend to be hard to get into as they are a bit tough but with these I found them to be smooth fitting and very comfy.

--- Style and Fit ---

For me the jeans fit perfectly they just have a normal wait too them so they aren't too low and they are too high. I like this because when I wear jeans with a low waist fitting I tend to keep pulling them up and I don't find high waist jeans very comfy. The jeans are fairly baggy and they came with a good boot cut which is ideal for when you wear them with heels. However, I found that you can wear the jeans with Vans, trainers and high heels even if they are bootcut.

The style of the jeans are very simple which is expected for them only being £9.99. the jeans have two pockets at the front which could fit a mobile phone and loose change in and the back pockets I use to put my bank card in. This probably isn't very safe but I don't like carrying a hand bag only if I have too.

This just proves how comfy they are. They are fastened with a zip and a button at the front.

---Do you get your moneys worth?---

I have had the dark blue jeans now for over a year and they are regularly washed as I seem to wear them all the time especially in the winter. The colour hasn't faded one bit and are still the same colour from the day I have worn them. As I have had them over a year now they are starting to go a bit bobbly but this isn't a problem as they are cheap to go and buy another pair and I have certainly had my moneys worth. They are starting to finally become more baggy but this is only because I am trying to lose weight through slimming world. You definitely get your moneys worth with these jeans and I really think they are better than Red Herring and Primark ones.

---Overall---

I would recommended these jeans to anybody they are so comfy and you really go get your moneys worth. They are easy to wash and I find the colour hasn't faded which is great considering other designs and makes of jeans do this over time. Since I bought these I have just bought another pair of the jeans for the same price in a smaller size due to my weight loss which has made me feel brilliant!
