Whilst shopping in New Look for some shoes I saw some cardigans which grabbed my attention. I don't really have any cardigans or jumpers that I can slip on over a vest top if I get chilly so I thought this would be perfect.

I purchased the Black cardigan but it also comes in White, Oatmeal, Purple, and Mid Pink & Watermelon. The cardigan cost me £12.99 which I don't think is bad value. The cardigans are available in sizes 6 - 18, although they didn't seem to have many sizes in the other colours beside Black & White. I'm guessing by this that the other colours are more popular, especially as it being summer. The cardigans can also be purchased from the New Look website. I am normally a size 8 in tops; how-ever I wanted this to go over something so I decided to go for the size 10. I did try on the size 8 and the arms are very tight, so the size 10 was much more comfortable anyway. The cardigan is a slouch style so is quite loose when on. There is a relaxed style pocket on either side of the cardigan to give it a little bit of detail. There are no buttons or anything to do the cardigan up with. The cardi is made from 96% Viscose and 4% Elastane.

I have worn the cardigan over a plain vest top and with jeans and the cardigan gives it a really nice look. The cardigan is a nice length and covers most of my bottom, so this cardigan is perfect if you don't like your bottom! Although the cardigan is loose and is slouch style it hangs really nicely without looking too big or flapping around. The cardigan is really soft and comfortable to wear and I can move my arms easily in the cardi as it moves with me due to the slight stretch in it. The cardigan also looks good over a maxi dress if you are feeling a little cold. Although the cardigan is thin material it does give you some warmth but keeps you cool at the same time. I don't tend to put anything in the pockets as they are relaxed and things would probably fall out of them, how-ever they look good as just part of the design on the cardi.

I think this is a great quality cardigan from New Look and have already considered purchasing another one of the cardi's in a different colour. In terms if value for money I think it's reasonable as the cardigan is made well and washes well without it loosing colour or shrinking. The cardigan does fit quite tight around the arms so I would suggest that you try the cardi on first before purchasing it. I would recommend this to others, as they come in a great range of colours and are really comfortable.
