I buy pretty much most of my clothes from New Look. Working in the middle of the town centre means I spend lunch breaks wandering around town and almost always end up in New Look. I LOVE Jeggins. I wear them all the time, their just so comfortable they go with just about everything aswell so I dont have to worry what to wear. Luckily you can wear them with most shoes aswell so they are good in summer with flip-flops or pumps or in winter with boots.
These ones are at a really good price. Im abit of a bargain freek so I would never buy them if I thought they wernt worth it to be honest. Im abit of a midget though unfortunatly so mine bunch up abit at the bottoms but it doesnt look bad (well I dont think and no-ones told me it does) so its not something that matters.
The only thing that Im not hugely keen on is I find the stitching comes unstritched really easily I never pick at it but on almost every pair Ive owned (probably 4-5 pairs) some of the stitching has come undone. Dont worry though its not all the way, it does stop and to be honest its not really noticable and it doesnt effect the way they look on.
They come in a couple of different colours so at least you can take your pick. I always get black so they go with stuff, they also do help your waist line look slimmer (mainly the reason why I live in mine) they are very flattering. Their easy to wash aswell and dry so unlike proper jeans they dont take forever to dry if your in a rush.
I am a huge fan of new look clothes, i regularly buy from there and is where most of my clothes come from, this is beacuse you get good quality clothes at a decent price its not too expensive and neither too cheap that you wonder if theres a reason why it is so cheap.
I like to be comfortable in the clothes I wear but also to feel that I have not just chucked on anything just to be comfortable. This is the reason that I love wearing leggins as they are extremly comfortable to do just about anything in but they also look really nice. So when I brought these leggins from new look I loved the way they looked like jeans and the cute buttons down the side of the leg.
I find with some leggins that the colour can sometimes begin to fade when being washed after a while and can start to become more transparent, however these leggins havnt faded in colour at all since when I first got them. I feel they give a great slimming look to my legs as they are dark in colour however not pure black that can make them look just like any old leggins. I can wear these leggins when just chilling around the house or when going out, as they look good enough with a party top.
When I brought these leggins I think they cost me about £15, not quite sure however I am sure that they have gone down in price by then and would recommend anyone who is a fan or leggins/jeggins to buy these as they go with any top and you will look great in them!
When it comes to clothes I dont think you can own to many - my wardrobe has broken with the weight of my clothes (and Im not lying by the way LOL) and yet I still keep buying more. The reason for my recent shopping spree was that no matter how many times I go shopping I never seem to buy jeans or leggings and I was down to one pair of jeans!! Thats shock horror in my world so I got online straight away to order myself some trousers of any kind - Im a bit stuck when it comes to buying proper jeans online though because I never know my exact size - a size 8 fits my waist but not my leg length and a size 10 is way too big so I went for the same option and bought myself some jeggings. I found these 'New Look Buttoned Denim Look Leggings' while browsing the site and I decided to buy them straight away and since they arrived Ive been wearing them loads.
Price: Was £12.99 Now £8.99 (+ £3.95 P&P if bought online)
Stockists: New Look & newlook.com
Other Info: Available in sizes 6 - 16 & available in colours Black & Klein Blue - I went for the latter option. These jeggings have an elasticated waist, contrasting stitching and military style buttons on the bottom of each leg - the buttons dont mean anything though they are still 100% machine washable.
*As I mentioned I personally got these jeggings in the Klein Blue shade - which is basically a medium blue & in size 8 - they fit brilliantly on my legs and waist so its doing wonders for my self esteem. Id advise getting a size below what you actually are in these because they are meant to be very fitted.*
The jeans in reality do look exactly like the picture so if your buying online like I did what you see is definitely what you get in this case. They are a medium to dark blue in colour and obviously made from stretchy legging material that is made to look like denim - so they have all the features you would get on jeans - the contrasting stitching which in this case is brown and also pockets (they dont actually hold anything they are just stitched on). At the bottom of each leg is 5 gold studs which go right down to the bottom of the leg which makes these a bit different from normal, plain jeggings in my opinion. I dont know why they are called buttons because they are simple studs but they really do fit into the military theme that I really love.
These jeggings fit me perfectly - they are long enough on the leg so they dont keep riding up when Im walking (which is a problem I often have with this type of trouser) and they fit perfectly on the waist - but even if they didnt the waist is stretchy enough to give you some wiggle room. These jeggings are pretty fitted which is the style but not too tight at all - I can wear these all day long without them feeling to tight at all they are some of the most comfortable 'jeans' I own. These look exactly like jeans but in my opinion are so much more comfortable and they fit like a dream - New Look got it spot on with the style, comfort and sizing with these jeggings in my opinion.
And because they are quite simple in design they match with literally everything and can be worn at any time of day to any occasion. I mainly wear these in the day with flat shoes and a tshirt but they can be dressed up for the night as well with boots or heels and somehow you can totally change your look from day to night still wearing these but just changing your shoes. They are a very versatile pair of jeggings and a pair I hope to be wearing for a long time to come. Ive been wearing these pretty much nonstop since I bought them about 3 weeks ago and they havent worn at all - I find jeggings wear down quite quickly with me for some reason but Ive had no problem with these so far so they are very good quality.
Cannot recommend highly enough - they are a staple wardrobe piece for me and every woman in my opinion. Thanks for reading.
