Fleece it up this winter with these lovely pyjama bottoms

With winter fast approaching, and my housemates reluctant to turn the central heating on (it's a student house - every penny counts!), I am finding it increasingly chilly in the evenings. Despite owning what is, arguably, the thickest, heaviest duvet in the world, I have found that this has just not been enough recently, and I have needed to layer up to be warm enough to sleep. Believing that it is my human right to be toasty, I went on the hunt for some warmer jumpers etc. When I wandered into Next, what I found were these lovely, snuggly, fleecy pyjama bottoms. The pyjama bottoms come in four sizes: S, M, L, XL. To give you some ideas of size, I am a size 14 and picked the M bottoms, which fit perfectly. I would therefore wonder whether S would be too big for those with a particularly petite frame. Although the pyjama bottoms do have an elasticated waist, there is no way of tightening them, as the chords that are attached appear to be exclusively for aesthetic purposes only. With regard to washing them, I have had no trouble with the bottoms, nor have I noticed any deterioration in quality, but perhaps by next year I will have worn them to death, as they are so cosy! The label advises that they be washed inside out at a 40 degree temperature with items of similar colour. However, me being me, I completely ignored the instructions, and bunged the pyjamas, as well as everything else (whites and all), into the washing machine on a 40 degree wash. Thankfully, I have not found the colours to have run and a few washes later, the bottoms are still as fleecy as ever. For those of you fortunate enough to have tumble driers, these bottoms are tumble-drier-friendly, but on a low heat setting. If you don't like the star design, Next also do at least one other design of fleecy pyjama bottom, being a pastel pink, blue and purple, winter/snowflake design. Both designs are, in my opinion, suitable for ladies of all ages and have a wide appeal. In fact, I'm scared that when I go home next my mum will want a pair herself, as she is also a lover of warmth! These fleecy pyjama bottoms can be bought from Next for £10 and are perfect for when you've been feeling especially chilly. I would say that they would probably make you too warm in bed if you like to keep the heating on, but they are amazing for lazing around in and pairing up with a jumper, and fluffy slippers to feel extra cosy and snuggly. I can't recommend them enough!
