I am quite a girly girl but love something comfy and warm to sit around the house in on winter days. My housemate had a pair of these and I borrowed them a few times, they were so nice that I had to go and buy a pair!
**What are they?**
These are jogging bottoms which are very thick and have a lovely fleece lining. They also have a cotton elasticated band on the top to allow extra comfort, as they do not dig into you.
**Where can I get them and for how much?**
I purchased mine from JD, the version that I brought are pictured above. They are light grey with dark grey lining and cost me around £45.
I also have them in plain light grey, which I purchased from JJB and cost me £20. Both pairs are exactly the same, apart from the lining.
**Are the comfy and reliable?**
These jogging bottoms are the most comfortable things I have ever put on my legs! They have a fleece lining which feels very soft and smooth against your legs, rather than jogging bottoms with lining that feels like a shell suit.
I find these jogging bottoms very weird as they seem to be very warm in the winter, yet very cool in the summer. I am not complaining though, as it means I can wear them all year round.
I have had these bottoms for 2 years this winter, and they still feel just as great as they did on the day that I brought them. The colour in them has worn a bit, but when they are being washed once a week this is bound to happen at some point!
I definately feel that these jogging bottoms are well worth the money. At £20 for the plain grey pair, this seems like an absolute bargain for the time that they have lasted and the comfort that they have given me. Also, I feel that the pair with darker lining look a lot smarter and am still happy to pay out the extra £25 for them as they have lasted a long time now.
I would definately recommend that everyone has a pair of these in their wardrobe for those days when you want to sit in and snuggle up, as they are so comfortable for this and keep you nice and toasy!
The nike component cuffed pant is one of the best selling products for the sport company.
You can get these pants from a JD Sports and Niketown.
They sell a pair of adult ones from £22 for the plain colour i.e (grey marl, black and navy blue) and the more expensive pair of tracksuit bottoms come in more colours such as dark grey, power blue and purple. The more colourful pants will usually retail for £30-35.
I have 6 pairs of these tracksuit bottoms and they are ideal for putting on around the house they are very comfortable also due to the fact that they dont have the shell lining on the inside.
I have worn them almost everywhere, you wont look like a chav in these bottoms I had worn them with a nice jumper and a pair of trainers.
Also if you buy the matching top or jacket to it it makes a quick outfit to fling on when you are in a hurry. A word of advice if you get a top to go to the pants then it is very important that you wash them together as they will turn a different colour and it would look odd if you are wearing them at the same time. also wash them on a low heat as well to help them maintain their shape.
These nike pants are very useful to have and I will be buying more of these in the near future.
i really love these track suit bottoms for so many reasons. I often find itt extremely hard to find fashionable track suit bottoms that fit well and are good for the female body. Although they are labelled as mens wear i think they look just as good on women/girls as they do on men and often see women wearing them around town.
They can be washed on a low tempreture wash and with any ordinary washing powder / soap. They are a really good buy and often last very long depending on the condition they are kept in. They are a very reliable make and due to there popularity they often range from £20-£40 depending on the store you get them at.
I would recommend these trousers to anybody who likes to run, goes to the gym, likes nikey tracksuits, enjoys simple comfort in there own home, needs a new pair of tracksuit bottoms or just simply is a growing teen.
Keep getting better
The Nike Component range have been the choice of tracksuits in the last 6 years or so due to there popularity at the high street store JD Sports.
Starting out in only a variation of colours such as heather & black, I have bought 4 pairs of the pants and 2 hooded tops to match as a tracksuit since there introduction.
They started as a extremely baggy simple design which required getting a size smaller than your actual size due to the design with extra material running down the inside of the thighs.
Fast forward to 2009 and the latest designs can feature anything from branding down the legs or subtle contrast areas such as above. The unnecessary extra material down the inside of the legs has been replaced with a standard fit which makes them less baggy but still comfortable.
I have recently purchased another pair in my favourite colour way Charcoal with contrasting red Nike logo and drawstrings. I have to say they are the smartest and most comfortable I have owned so far.
Great for around the house and exercising.
Nike tracksuit bottoms
I was bought these tracksuit bottoms from my parents at Christmas and was very impressed with them.
As long as looking very sporty and fashionable they are also perfect for this time of the year as they have a lovely fleece lining making them very warm and comfortable. Also for added comfort they have a soft cotton elasticated waist which make them much more cosy then jeans in my opinion.
These are ideal for your every day life whether you are an active sporty person as these are ideal for the gym or running etc as they are very unrestricting, they can also be used for just lounging around the house or just to wear casually.
They are however quite expensive, costing around £30 however this is due to the branded name Nike and them being very desirable for this years fashion.
I would recommend these particularly for teenagers like myself however they can be worn by all ages. They are also often associated with the Hip Hop genre and are often worn by followers of this music as they are seen being worn by many famous rappers.
In conclusion these are a must have of 2009 and are ideal for these cold winter months.
