I was sitting in some classes today, thinking: What should i write about. I've done games, a book and a few DVD/VHS titles. So i thought what there was to do. Internet Shopping-not bad experience, so i thought what else there was. Discussion. its actually fashion, but its kind of like a discussion. But what to do it about, so i came home after some thinking and presto!!!, nike it was. To help me out, i have my argos book infront of me, just to say how many nike things there are, of coourse, i will not count though.

.1) We all know nike for its fashion and, yes, it may be good, but its expensive. Look at that price tag, is it for a TV? A DVD boxset? Even a phone? No, a pair of Shox Nike trainers, with a hefty price tag of around £70-£80, and that is in Soccer Sports, a cheap store. £40 is what they should be sold for at themax. How much money does one company need to make, people abroad are working for 'slave labour', surely they deserve more. SONY, making Playstation 3 components (microchips) havent went abroad, they've just opened a factory in Japan. But not nike, its everywhere in Britain, except in factories.

Still looking through the argos magazine. Finally, not in a fashion magazine selling shirts for above £20, but in the golf section. Stick to your own speciality people; fashion. Leave Ryder and Wilson to take care of Golf. They even sponsor Tiger Woods. For golf, a tour towel and shoe carrier, £9.99 each. I look up and yes, for the name topflite, the shoe bag is £9.99, but the towel £7.99, only £2 difference, but still, saving pounds adds up to saving hundreds eventually.

2nd most expensive, £10 difference, save your money. So far thats £12 saved.

Now it comes to the clubs. Club quality does matter so i wont be as cynical with this, because, although i said they should stick to fashion, they do good clubs really.

RAM clubs- £189.99
Nike clubs- £299.99

RAM and nike have the same clubs, and RAM had one more club in the pack. Nikes better quality, but not an extra £110 better quality.

The first 2 are for kids, save the pounds. The adults sets have a lot more, but i would buy a £40 or £50 Wilson, not Izzo or Nike. Surely nike is not that good quality, Wilsons a good brand for golf.

There is more on golf, but lets go on to a different sport.

£15 for a good basketball, why buy one for £40, no ball is worth that much unless its signed by Michael Jordan (Its not).


There really is not much else to say. Nike is expensive, more expensive than it needs to be, and people are working for little money making trainers that sell for a lot. Really, buy adidas who dont do as many sports. It may be at an excessive price, but adidas is cheaper.
Hope you enjoyed my first discussion/fashion. I dont know about the reccomendation, so ill leave it at yes. Good quality, but not £££ good.

Summary: if you have the money, go for it, but its a little expensive for me.
