I spotted this in Topshop last week and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it! I am a big fan of The Only Way Is Essex and I must admit that it made me smile when I saw this T shirt as the slogan (no carbs before marbs) is quite a well known quote from the show as it's a fitness regime that the TOWIE girls undertake before they go on holiday or have a special event coming up.

I did actually think that this was a huge oversized T shirt at first but I bought it anyway with the intention of cutting the sleeves off, making the neck deeper and making it a bit shorter, but it's actually a nightie and so I have decided to purely wear it for bed, which seems a shame as I love it but it's too long and baggy to look acceptable in public and it just wouldn't look quite right even if I did tailor it a bit, but nevermind!

The nightie is very warm despite being reasonably lightweight and even on cold nights such as tonight, I simply stick a big cosy cardi on over it and some leggings or pj bottoms. On summer nights it might be a bit too thick - it's not thick, but it's thick for a nightie if that makes sense. For the price I paid though (£20), I wouldn't be happy if it was really thin and flimsy so the slight thickness and bit of warm it gives is a plus side in my opinion.

The nightie has a scooped neck and baggy T-shirt style sleeves which come down to my elbows. The length of the nightie is just above knee length on me and i'm 5'3. It's ivory white in colour and it has black font on it which reads "No Carbs B4 Marbs". The 'A' in 'Marbs' is made with 2 purple palm trees leant against eachother to create a triangle shape which I thought was cute however i'd prefer it just to say "no carbs before marbs" without the purple palm trees or text-speak 'B4' because that way it would look more mature and not as 'novelty' - not sure if I am making any sense but I know what I mean lol.

There is a faded picture of multiple palm trees at the bottom of the T shirt behind the text which is subtle and adds that extra bit of detail. Comfort wise, this is really comfy. It took a few wears to get it loosened/softened up as with most clothing it was a bit stiff at first. The nightie is made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester and it's got quite a smooth, almost silky feel to it. It feels nice on my skin and it's not itchy at all like some clothing can be.

The nightie is available in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16. I got my usual size despite being pregnant because it is honestly so oversized! It would look silly if you get 2 or 3 sizes bigger as it almost hangs off me even in my usual size 8 which is a rareity as most Topshop clothes aren't very generous in sizing at all.

The nightie washes well and is machine washable. I would reccomend it if you're a TOWIE fan and considering the quality and that it is a Topshop branded item of clothing, I do think it's decent value for £20.
