Ralph Lauren is the original 'lifestyle' brand and is still the best.

Despite this sector of the market becoming ever more congested, Ralph has managed to stand out alone, ahead of the rest. The reason for this is simple, Ralph Lauren has remained true to their brand values; quality, simplicity and unmistakable brand characteristics. Unmistakable brand characteristics is, for me the most important of the aforementioned values, consider Jack Wills equally expensive but far inferior, their need to print the brand name so obviously on all their clothes clearly demonstrates this. Unable to carve their own niece Jack Wills relies on churning out predictable, dull and overpriced goods.

Ralph Lauren combines high end fashion with every day practicality, so as you would expect prices are high. Of course the quality is exactly as you would expect, I have several garments which have lasted for many years and many washes without losing their original integrity. In contrast I have a Jack Wills 'hoddie' which after only a few washes lost its original colour and stretched beyond its original shape.

Ralph Lauren combines effortless 'preppy' cool with competitive value, a fantastic brand!
