It's January. It's wet and rainy and damwell cold so why an earth did I order and a buy a swimsuit then? Well I wasn't planning on trying to hit my local beach thats a certainty... I may be slighty mad but not that far gone lol. No this was something I bought just before Christmas as myself and a friend enjoy lazing about at spa's as often as we can to recharge our batteries.
I have a habit though of everytime I go to a spa of wearing a different swimsuit or bikini or whatever. I think in my mind I just like to really feel pampered and fresh or something lol.
This one I purchased from my K&co catalogue. I do alot of my ordering not from the actual papercatalogue mind you and order from the website more often than not which is K&co.com and this cost me £18.00 though when I ordered this (and if you do still now for a limited time only) there is a three for two offer on most of the Resort swimwear and of course thats the offer that I took advantage of!
This particular swimsuit comes in three colour options which are black, black and white and a floral design and I went for the black and white one in this. It comes in sizes 8-24 which all retail at the same price no matter the size and I got the size 10 as that's the size I usually am and this one fitted me comfortably and like a glove.
Made from 80% polyamide and 20% elastane this is a slighty stretchy and giving swimsuit though thankfully not too much so. It feels lightweight on, smooth and I do like the give in this that this has to it for ease of putting it on!
Being halterneck this ties to the back of the neck. That piece of material isn't too long but long enough to tie up or pop a bow into or whatever.
So my option is black with large white flowers all over it. Its very low cut though and in my opinion not very supportive, luckily my bust isn't huge but it only just keeps my bust in check and even I feel a bit too much is on show with this on! It does have little white pads that are removable that slot into the sides of the bust area though for smaller busted ladies to use if they desire, which I do think is a good idea!
This is a highcut on the leg swimsuit which is something that doesn't bother me and it covers my bum nicely, so I'm not too cheeky!
This doesn't go transparent when hitting the water and although I have now worn this a few times (not to a spa but normal swimming at a pool lol!) it hasn't experienced colour fade or shrinkage or anything like that and it is suitable for machine washing and tumble drying.
I think this is a lovely quality, well made swimsuit but the large v to the front of it is deep and although I don't fall out of it I do feel a bit too much really is on show. Great for smaller busted ladies though and for women with real killer cleavages who have no shame lol
Available from K&co or Google if interested.
