      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Looking back I wish I'd not bought it. I could of got a few primark vests for the same price/quality

I absolutely love tigers, they're such stunning animals and really cute, so when I saw this vest while browsing the ASOS website a couple of weeks ago I instantly added it to my basket and purchased it. This is quite expensive at £20 for what it actually is - a basic vest with a lion motif, but I do think the price can be justified because it's very versatile.

The vest has a deep scoop neckline and racer back. It's obviously a sleeveless top and has thick straps which I like as I find the thin straps quite flimsy. The vest has an adorable picture on the front which takes up a majority of the space. It looks almost like a photograph although if you look closely it is clear that it's an illustration.

The picture is of a young tiger club laid down with his mouth open wide like he's roaring. His right canine is coated in textured silver diamantes while his eyes and nose are coated with black diamantes. I was a little worried the diamante detail would look a bit too girly or tacky and/or come off and leave ugly patches where they should of been, however they are suprisingly subtle and add a bit of extra detailing to the top.

The top is very thin and has a soft, almost silky feel to it. Considering the price I do think this could be better quality as it is so thin I can't wear a coloured bra underneath. Also, for £20 I think cotton would be better value but this is 100% polyester. Despite how thin the top is though I do still like it. It fits nicely although it is not very generous in size - I purchased a ten as I wanted it to be a relaxed fit, however it's more like an eight which is my usual size and it looks noticeably tighter than a majority of my other size eight vests.

Sizes available are 6 to 18. Length wise, this is waistline length on me and I am quite short at 5'3ish. I was slightly dissapointed with the length as it looks a lot longer on the ASOS pictures and I had bought this thinking it'd be long enough to wear with leggings. It is still versatile though and as it's quite short it's ideal for tucking into shorts and skirts and it looks nice with most trousers too, especially skinny jeans. It looks nice on its own or can be layered under a cardi or blazer.

Overall, this is a nice and casual vest which is very versatile, however the quality isn't great for the price and the sizing is slightly off which lets it down and I therefor give it 3 out of 5 stars.
