      A great bargain!

I have often seen people walking around here in Llandudno wearing fleece jackets with pictures of animals around the bottom and whilst some of them look a bit too bright or twee for my liking some of them are really smart. I particularly liked the ones I had seen with sheep on - I do like sheep which is just as well since we now live in Wales!

Anyway I had seen them for sale on the RNLI website at a cost of £49.95 which I am afraid was too expensive for me at the moment although Dave did try and persuade me to treat myself!

A few months ago I got an email to tell me that there was a sale on in the RNLI online shop so I took a look and found that the sheep fleece had been reduced to £29.95 and this time Dave insisted that I buy it and to be fair I didn't take THAT much convincing.

The fleece is made from an unlined polyester and acrylic fabric and it is really light in weight but it is surprisingly warm to wear. It measures 29 inches (74cm) in length so it comes well down onto my hips which is great as I don't like short jackets - I am the wrong shape!

The main body of the jacket is made up of a picture of pale blue sky with the bottom part being the pale green the grassy hills. There are sheep grazing on the hills together with their sheep dogs all round the base of the jacket. There is a picture of the jacket at the top of this review so that you can see what I mean.

The jacket has two side pockets, although these do not have any sort of closure on them, and has a zip all the way down the front so it can be zipped right up to the neck when it is cold. There is a collar around the neck of the jacket which can be turned up if needed too. On the part of the zip that you grip to open and close it there is a little sheep which I think is lovely! Another good thing about this jacket is that it is machine washable.

This item is still for sale at £29.95 although they only have 'medium' ones left. The website of the RNLI shop is http://www.rnlishop.org.uk and you just need to look at the clearance items or search under the word 'jacket' if you are interested and of course they also sell all sorts of other things as well.

Incidentally they also have one for the same price with kittens all the way round. I am not as keen on this one as the kittens are all in a row round the jacket whereas the sheep one is more of a picture.

All in all I am really pleased that I purchased this jacket as it keeps me really warm in the winter and it looks smart too and of course it is helping to fund the lifeboats!
