Advantages: make your bum beautfiul!

Disadvantages: expensive

Okay i'm going to start off by mentioning that the picture that goes with this review which has not been added by myself is a fake!!!! REAL rocks look so much better than this. Part of the way I can tell this is fake is by the pocket being too large, the crown is sloppy and the wash (jeans colour) is lame.

Anyway, Rock and Republic are largely known for their designer denim for men and women however they also do tops, jackets, dress, shoes, makeup etc!

I myself have only ever bought their jeans (which are truely fantastic) SO why are they so good?? The quality of the denim is way superior compared to Next for example, they do not really strech out at all and the cut is very flattering. They really do enhance your body (if you buy the right style and size!). Obviously it depends what your body shape is as to which would flatter you most though. I am only 5, 6" tall which is pretty small for your average RNR wearer. All of their jeans are between 34-36" long the idea being that you then get them tailored to ensure a perfect fit! They are also sized from a 23 right up to a 32. This does not mean the waist is exactly that but is a rough guide. To give you an idea im generally a 28/29 in RnR and i'm 5,6" and around 9.5 stone and may actual waist size is prob around 31ish. Your best bet though 9if buying off ebay) is to measure your current pair of jeans and then to compare with the ones online)

So with being shortish and curvyish I find the Roth or Madrid cut the most flattering. This is a flare cut but is not your average 60s/ hippy type flare but is very elegant. You see I have bought their regular bootcut jeans (kasandra/keidis) and by the time so much of the bottom has been hacked off them they are looking more like straight legs which doesn't really work so well for me! RNRs are also available in straightlegs and skinnys as well as shorts, capris and miniskirts.

The one other thing I would mention is that these tend to be quite low rise comapre to your average jean. Approx 7-8" only. The Jaguar cut is VERY low rise and I would only recommend these if you have no muffin top at all- unlike moi!

In recent years Rock and Republic has become moree well known because of its previous relationship with Victoria Beckham and her crown jeans. Now I must admit these are amazing jeans. I didnt want to like them, but I do. They are my most flattering jeans, they really do slim and uplift my bum. Do not buy fakes, they look cheap and nasty, will not do the job AND fakes help fund terrorism and child slave labour!

Now I know some of you may be thinking "silly cow how can you afford these?" Because the english retail price of Rock & Republics are ASTRONOMICAL! You are looking at approx £200-£350. HOWEVER I found a wonderful website called authenticforum which helped advise wherre to buy the jeans from america (revloeclothing is very good) moderators help authenticate jeans on ebay as well as soooooooo many are fakes like the one in the picture and they also have their own "mall" where members sell and swap jeans (not just Rock and Republic but many designers). So if anyone reading this desperately wants to get into the world of designer denim but was worried how they could afford it I would really recommend visiting this site! Also feel free to pm if you want anymore info!

Oh and one last thing on care- If you buy Rocks and they are crystalised (they use real swarvoski crystals) do not wash on a hot wash or put them in a tumble drier as the crystals may come off. Only ever wash this type on a cold gentle wash then hang to dry. In fact I would say never put any of your RNR jeans in a tumble drier. The ones without crystals are ok on a gentle 30 wash though.

Summary: A jean worth saving up for!
