Advantages: Fast delivery ( 24-48 hrs) outstanding quality and value for money

Disadvantages: so much to buy and not enough money to buy with !!!

At some point in a girls life she reaches 'That certain age' when clothes take on a more sophisticated look , a look which says 'taste and maturity' but without 'over the hill' or past my sell by date'
At 50 + I have now come to this point and gone are the tight jeans .............OMG never again , the skimpy tops .............midriff , lots of midriff and the skirts that don't cover next weeks washing..........mmmmmmm, not a pleasant sight.
Having searched the net I've come across an online shop that meets all of my new requirements, and I don't feel bad about it.
Roman originals is a shop that us more experienced ladies can sit and troll through for hours, or is it just me who likes to look at nice clothes???

Everything you could possible want for every occasion is here within the online store from coats, jackets, dresses, that's day, evening and special event style.
Blouses, tops, skirts, trousers and not just suits with skirts but trousers suits ........and not just trouser or skirts but whole sets of clothing that you can match together , you can buy a jacket and add to this a dress, skirt, trousers, tops, blouse and even a hat , OMG what have I been missing all this time dear ........cheque book please dearest .

Having found the item you want you may possible find its in the sale, this sale is constantly been added to and some items are ridiculously cheap , I recently bought a stunning dress in a white silky fabric with pale blue leaves on for a incredible £20.00 and this is postage and packing FREE.

The Postage and packing free time is on at the minute and seems to run on and off for weeks on end, which is fine by me.
Sale items variety in price with day dresses at just £20 to full length evening dresses from £37.00 add a matching jacket and you have a nice wedding outfit.

Talking of wedding outfits they have at this time the most stunning turquoise and white dress with a matching white jacket and turquoise hat online, and I mean a dress the mother of the bride would kill for and both dress and jacket are just £39.99 each with the hat, which I had the privilege of trying on in one of the stores at £the same £39.99 well this outfit was simply stunning and I know someone who will be buying it very soon.

Roman originals also has none sale clothing departments, these come in a total of 12 collections all with a range of matching items the collections come with tempting names like: Lemon Twist, Confetti, Romance or Paradise beach and if you are thinking of going on a cruise this would be the ideal place to shop for all your day and evening wear.

As for sizing , they do have a size chart on site which when clicked pops up very quickly and is most helpful , having bought a number of items ( well 14 so far and another 50 odd shhhhhhhhhh, to go ) I can honestly say that they are of a good size and are not cut mean , if you get my drift.

But what really impresses me is the quality , each item is fully lined , the zips are invisible and the hems are correctly sewn and not just chucked up and left with threads hanging or uneven ..........which for me is a big bug bear I have now a days with companies.

I am very impressed with this company , having called the telephone number supplied on site for enquires or to place an order by phone , the staff were very polite, very friendly and whats even better helpful to a point that they where falling over backwards to assist me .

As well as online shopping you can also log in to find the nearest store to your town and this is exactly what I did a week ago , ending up with hubby and son driving me at the way to Atlantic Village in Devon to have a nose around and yes, I was impressed by the store as well , what a shame I didn't win one of the weekly prize draws help on site for £250.00 worth of Roman originals vouchers ,I could have gone quite mad with so many delightful dresses, jackets and hats on sale and all willing and eager to come home with me ...................never mind , I've just ordered this Christmases evening dress in purple sequins.

Having shopped with the Roman Originals clothes line for some weeks now and been extremely impressed with the quality , design , value for money and service the company has gives to me, I must now pass on the information that came to me in the last few days .
Like most companies Roman Originals run the company on tight profit margins, which means that we its customers can purchase items at extremely discounted prices .
However, like most large companies they have to take into account the four seasons of the year along with supply and demand when setting prices.

Believe it or not winter will soon be upon us and accordingly Romans have once again reduced some of this years Summer clothing, this is not just on the Internet site but in there stores nationwide.
Having said this , this years new winter stocks when first introduced to us in the spring/summer of this year at outstanding prices has now been increased in price slightly.

I was surprised by this and on speaking directly to the company told them so .
After speaking for sometime to the gentleman who runs the company I was however assured that we are still getting exceptional value for money and making great savings on the winter lines of Roman Originals.

When the winter season takes over in the shops and customers like you and I go mad trying to find clothing that will not only keep us warm , but be fashionable , manufacturers of the clothing we are all desperately trying to snatch have been known to cut there pricing margins.
I know some of you will say it is unfair to pass these price rises on to the customers , but if we think about this rationally.
If at some point it isn't passed on in one way or another the company would not make any profit and so be unable to buy new stock , we would all complain and the company would slowly disappear from view. Now I for one would not want this to happen as I like the company and its good quality clothing line very much , and although I now have to pay these slight increases ...at this time for an item ( remember the winter lines will all be in the sale soon ) , I'd d rather do this than not be able to but it at all .

But then , if like me you really want that 'super-duper all singing all dancing cheap as chips item' , perhaps in future you should follow my lead and buy 'out of season' .

Buy spring for the following year in the in Autumn.
Buy summer for the year your in the winter just gone .
Buy Autumn of this year in the Spring of the same year.
And then you can buy Summer of next year in the Winter of this year ..............having done all this if you can still think straight and have all your marbles about you , well your a better man than I am !!!( perhaps thats because I'm a woman )

And so what I'm trying to say in all this is that on the Roman originals site you may now find that that Christmas party dress which was sssooooooooo cheap , you thought they were having a laugh, is a couple of pounds more expensive , but still OMG what an absolute bargain .

Summary: An online shop that is a joy to shop with, clothes that are a joy to wear.
