Advantages: Lots to choose from and cheap.

Disadvantages: Not as many clothes as a clothes shop normally has.

My local supermarket these days is a Sainsburys. I wouldn't normally choose to shop there but lately I have found myself making more and more trips to the place because I don't have a car and we are eating lots more fruit and vegetables than we used to so they need replenishing. On my regular trips to Sainsburys I like to check out what they have on offer in the clothes department and every now and again I pick up a couple of bits for either myself or my sons.

Range.
I have found that over the past year or two Sainsbury's have really upped the range of clothing that they sell. Not only can you buy Men's suits and shirts but you can also pick up anything for a child or baby. They sell shoes, pajamas, women's, underwear sets and much more. You can definitely kit out a whole family there and you can do your shopping at the same time so there's a bonus.
When it comes to the range the only thing that one needs to bare in mind is the fact that there isn't going to be as many clothes here as a proper clothes shop.

Style.
I find that the womans clothes have been brought more up to date and you can buy things that are suitable for someone in there twenties but also things for the older generation as well.
The childrens clothes are very funky and even the mens clothes are fashionable. You wouldn't guess that the items come from a supermarket.

Quality.
I can't complain about the quality of the clothes in the TU range. Everything I have purchased has washed up really well and stayed in shape. Most of the items are nice and thick and that includes the T shirts I bought for Noah. The colours don't seem to fade and everything stays in tip top condition.

Price.
You really can't argue with the price of the clothing here. I have picked up a few little T shirts for my son for £2 each. This is just as good as Primark but I think the quality is much better. My hubby bought a pack of two shirts recently for £6 and I often buy packs of vests for my baby boy for around the £5 mark. Even the more expensive ladies clothing isn't very expensive and won't break the bank.

Sales.
I often find that Sainsburys will have a 25% off day on all of the clothing so look out for them. I would probably guess that these happen around once every month or two so it's worth waiting until then if you want to pick up a few bits. Obviously for someone like me who is on a budget, an extra 25% off really helps me out even if the prices are so low to start with. On top of that you can use your Nectar points and end up with some lovely clothes at dirt cheap prices.

Verdict.
Over all Sainsbury's is a great place to shop for clothes if you are on a tight budget. I think if I had a choice of this supermarket and places like Primark, I would definitely choose Sainsburys. The only downside is the fact that there may not be as much choice here as there is a clothes shop because Sainsbury's is primarily a food shop.

Summary: A great place to shop for clothes and food at te same time.
