Sloggi double comfort tops are bras made from soft cotton and 5 per cent elastane. They have no fastenings. You put them on over your head and pull them down over your breasts. I've got comfort tops in both black and white, and my newest ones cost £9. Shop around and you'll find them slightly cheaper, with one-off colour choices. They keep their stretch for years. When they eventually wear out, it's the side seams that go first.
I switched to Sloggi comfort tops several years ago when I went through a bad health patch and didn't have the co-ordination or energy to struggle with bra hooks. Though I'm much better now, I still wear Sloggis. They really are comfortable. If I'm too tired to get undressed at night I can sleep in them, and ditto if I get ready the night before because I don't trust myself to get washed and dressed the next morning.
Nevertheless Sloggi comfort tops are not a disability aid. Neither are they the lingerie equivalent of old slippers. Their sporty look is nothing you need to hide. The only time I don't wear a comfort top is when I choose clothes that need extra breast definition. I'm 32DD, so I do need some control.
You need to be able to raise your arms to put on a Sloggi comfort top without help.
I bought my Sloggi Double Comfort Top in pack of 2 at http://www.littlewoods.com/ for only £13.00.
I needed a bra top without back fastening for doing my callanetix exercises, some of which are done lying on the back and traditional bra is no good for that.
With stretching exercises you don't need a hight impact bra, as there are no vigorous activities involved. More than that there is a great need for comfort and softness of the top.
Sloggi top is exactly that, as it's made of 95% cotton and 5% Lycra® elastane.
It has a great non-wired double layer of stretch fabric underband below the bust that gives light support without putting too much pressure on the ribs.
Straps are of sufficient width to withstand the weight that's put in them.
I bought 2 sets of the Sloggi tops: one in white and one in black colour.
They both wash beautifully and are tumble dry-able. They retain shape and colour well. I really can't seem to find any criticism about them.
Sloggi tops keep up to their usual high standard.
I recommend the product and you will not be disappointed if you need low impact high comfort top for gentle activities or just as a casual underwear.
