Although I don't mind shopping, I really hate trying on clothes. Having traipsed around the shops for hours looking for a dress for a family wedding without much success I decided to order a few dresses from ISME.com so I could try them on at home. There were two I really liked, and I settled on the South Cut out Embellished dress for this wedding in July and a dressier one for my Sister in Law's wedding later in the year. Unlike the picture my dress is a bright cerise colour, but otherwise it is exactly the same. It is a stretch viscose material which gives it a soft jersey feel. The dress has cut out shoulders, but elbow length slightly wide sleeves which I really loved as I hate my bingo wings. The dress is cut straight but is not clingy and skims over your curves, but is not so loose that it looks like a sack. I found it accentuated my decent features but hid my mummy tummy, and found it really flattering. The neckline is embellished with diamante and bronze stones which gave the dress some dazzle and gave me something to match my jewellery to as I am normally useless at accessorising! I wore my dress with hot pink high heels and a pink clutch bag, and I got loads of complements on it. The dress lasted well for the whole day without looking too creased or crumpled. The floaty material meant that I it was comfy to dance in, easy to chase after Little Man in and had enough room in it that I could eat the profiteroles without worrying about bursting out! The only slight problem was I wore tights underneath it which did cause a bit of static so I had to check the skirt hadn't ridden up when I got up! The cut out shoulders had straps which were an inch thick so you could wear an ordinary bra underneath without it showing. The dress is £29 from ISME.com, and is available in pink, black and cobalt blue (which I also ordered, but sent back as I couldn't justify both although I was very tempted!) I ordered my dress in a size 16 which was true to size. It measured 32 inches from under arm to hem and it sat just below my knees which was the perfect length for me at 5 ft 5in. The dress is machine washable at 40 degrees, and should be washed and ironed inside out. I also wore the dress on holiday so it has been washed and ironed a few times and still looks as hood as when I first brought it, and doesn't appear to have lost any of the jewels from the neck line. For the price I think it was excellent value for money, and I think I will get a lot of where out of it as it covers all the bits I hate and feel comfortable and confident when wearing it - it is a definite 5 stars from me!
