I'm a bit of a knitwear addict and love anything that's cable knit, so when i saw this jumper online last year just after christmas, treat myself and bought it straight away as i loved the design.
The jumper is like a tunic because of the length (comes just below my bum), and is very in season for colder months due to the wintery fairisle printed thick band-design around the upper chest and shoulders, which is a subtle navy colour. The jumper is a beautiful cream colour and reminds me of aran style jumpers as it's cable knitted.
The neckline, top of the pockets and sleeve cuffs are ribbed.
On the front of the jumper at the bottom there is a gorgeous cosey pocket on either side which are deep enough to safely put a phone or ipod in without it falling out. On the left pocket is a small rectangular metal badge which has the superdry label on, proving it's a genuine superdry product and not a cheap copy.
The jumper is 100% cotton, which makes it nice and thick and warm; ideal for winter but it'd be a nightwear wearing it in summer as it keeps insulation in! I wore mine late december/early jan/feb and found it kept me cosey. I personally love wearing it with leggings as it's long enough to cover my bum, or with jeans - it goes with anything really!
The only let down is the £49.99 price tag that Bank have stuck on it, which i feel is slightly overpriced but as it's so warm, versatile, 100% cotton and stylish, i think it's reasonable (only because i'm getting so much wear out of it though; if you're going to buy it and wear it once it'd be a total waste of money!) Similar tops to this are available in newlook for £20-£30 and primark for £5-£25 but both are acrylic and no where near as cosey or warm as this.
I personally love it. It's available in 2 colours; cream, with navy detailing, or grey with bright pink detailing. I got the cream and personally prefer it to the grey.
The sizes available are S, M, L, XL. I got an M and i'm a size 8 and have found it's oversized but not too much so. I'd guess an S is probably a size 6-8, an M around 10-12 maybe and so on, however i'm unsure so it'd be best to look up on the internet the measurements as some people may prefer the top to have a fitted look and not a slouchy oversized look.
Overall i love this jumper but won't be buying one again due to the price, however i don't think i'll need to as it's great quality, washes well and looks good.
I bought this jumper from BANK sometime around Christmas. The weather was cold at the time, it had been snowing a lot, and when I saw it in the shop it just looked so snug and warm, I wanted to wear it as it looked really cosy, as well as really fashionable. I just wanted it, basically! I liked the pretty design around the top, I also liked how it is quite long and has pockets at the bottom. I'm tall and I like long jumpers and tops like this as I think they suit my shape quite well.
I didn't like it when I saw the price tag, a whopping £49.99! But I thought I would treat myself anyway. You only live once don't you, so why not!
Since then I don't actually regret buying this at all. It is so warm! I actually don't want winter to end so fast now, just so that I can get some extra wear out of this lovely jumper! Especially with a layer underneath this, I'm not affected by the biting, freezing cold temperatures outside one bit. And its so comfortable to wear as well. So it is a really practical buy. I haven't had a cold once this winter (touch wood!) and I think part of the reason is because I wear this practically every day. I can't take it off, I'm in love with it! (and I should be for that price, I can a little voice in my head saying!)
I would recommend this jumper, because I think that even though it is expensive, I have worn it so many times and the quality is so good that I expect to wear it next winter and maybe even the year after as well, that it seems like the price is justified. I also love the look of it, I love the colours, I love the shape and I love the pockets. Its my number one choice of jumper this winter!
