I bought this jacket for £55 down from £75 as there was an online code for superdry with 15% off. I have the black coat with the pink toggles and inner fleece. The coat is waterproof and windproof, as there are so many choices of zips that are also rubber and waterproof you can make yourself either super warm or just mildly comfortable. The inner is pink but you can get other colours like white, yellow, red or orange. It is a polar fleece and although it looks thin you only need one other layer on underneath to stay warm even on a country walk in winter. It does make you feel a bit sweaty if you just wear it for something like going around the shops. This is a proper outdoor jacket. The outer is black and without the superdry logo would look just like a north face jacket. I have worn it in unrelenting rain and stayed dry, and also in very windy conditions on the top of a hill and I was still toasty. I would recommend this if you dont want to shell out for a outdoor branded coat but still want something reliable and close fitting. You may need to go up from your normal size as they feel very tight.
I have to admit, I don't know anyone who doesn't own one of these jackets - be it man or woman. They are ridiculously popular! Last Christmas my dad brought me one costing £64.99 from the Superdry store. My father opted for the hooded version as if it was raining, I would be snug and have dry hair too. Although, without the hood the jacket only costs £54.99. The jacket comes in black, purple, green, pink and white (but colours do change regularly and some sell out quicker than others). Mine is black with pink superdry writing. The inside is bright pink fleece and there are three zips on layers on the front. I think this is supposed to be to do the coat up to different tightness's but I like that it makes the jacket look different. The hood in my opinion isn't up to much, it does not properly cover my head and is quite thin. I expected it to be much more due to the heavy duty velcro patch that does up under the chin (if you ever used that bit). The coat, I find is size appropriate, but the girl in the shop said she was a size 10 and wore a Large. I am a size 8 and a Small fitted me fine?! I think it just depends on how you like the jacket to fit. Also the fact I have a very petite frame and not much boob might help me fitting into the small! The jacket does only come in Small, Medium and Large, so if you are over a size 12/14 it most probably will not fit you unfortunately. Superdry have made the Windcheater to be waterproof but incredibly warm. I have to admit, I used it as a winter jacket aswell as a raincoat. The fleece inside does keep you very warm. I have used it various times where the temperature has been so/so and the rain has been pouring down - I was sweating a ridiculous amount! I do love the jacket but I find that a t-shirt only underneath is more than enough. In more winter conditions when the weather is below freezing, it did keep me really cosy but I did still wear gloves. I have to admit, the jacket is excellent value for money. It may cost £64.99 but it is well worth it! I am yet to find another coat which is a raincoat and a winter jacket. Keeping you dry and snug as a bug. It fits beautifully and still looks feminine despite the fact it can be brought in a mens too. (Its a lifesaver in our British weather). After a year owning the jacket, it has held up well in the wash and is still in perfect condition - there is not a single issue with it at all! I can tell it is going to last me a good few years. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone who needs a cosy, waterproof, stylish jacket to wear in the winter period or just through the colder days of the year.
When my Dad was kind enough to give me £50 for my 21st on top of what him and my Mum had already bought me, I immediately knew I would like to buy a Superdry coat. I had seen lots of people wearing them and thought they looked good so I went on the hunt for one! I ordered my coat from Superdry online where they offer free delivery. In the end I decided to go for the coat with the hood. Hooded windcheaters cost £64.99 and the ones without hoods are £54.99. When I bought mine the hooded ones were available in purple, green and black but looking on the website the colours seem to change regularly! My coat arrived within a couple of days and I couldn't wait to wear it. One thing I will say is that if you do plan on ordering a coat online, do check out the sizing guide as the sizes are not what you would expect. For example, I wear a size 10 but I had to order a Large coat as this is only a UK size 12 and I wanted a bit of room! I'm surprised to see that Large is the largest size they do. The coat is a waterproof jacket with fleece lining. It is quite thick and can be worn as a winter jacket. One of the main differences with Superdry coats to other brands is that it has 3 zips! They each do up at a different tightness which makes the coat really snuggly and warm! I suppose if you didnt want them all done up then you could just do the outside one but with the weather we have had this winter I have always had all three done up! The coat is really nice to wear, it is a really good fit and it is very warm. When it rains I am kept warm and dry and I think the addition of the hood is great, the hood stays up when its windy and is a real lifesaver in Britains weather! I have had the coat about a month now and it still looks brand new. Numerous people have commented on my coat and many have admired the colour. If this one begins to look tatty next winter I will certainly buy a new one as they are stylish, warm and I think they are great value for money. Recommended.
