Advantages: Some well designed, quality clothing.

Disadvantages: The good stuff is often hidden amongst the rubbish.

Having never bought any clothes from any supermarket I wasn't sure what to expect when, about a year ago, I decided to take a look at the clothing section at my local tesco's store. I was pleasantly suprised.

There was a wide range of clothing, some really well designed bits and pieces and they all seemed to be of a good quality. So I decided to invest.

The jeans are of an excellent quality. The only problem I have is the inconsistency in sizing. Two pairs of bootcut jeans with the same size waist and leg will hardly ever fit in the same way. Even when it comes to waist size I have bought jeans from tesco in my normal size but have had to return them as they have been too small.

Their casual mens shirts are of an excellent quality. They have a wide range of designs and the ones I have purchased have all fit me very well and lasted a long time.

I also bought a rain coat in there that has stood up to some abuse, it has hardly any signs of wear and tear and only cost around fifteen pounds. Bargain.

There are some terrible clothes, in a design sense but if you can search through the aisles, you are almost guaranteed to find something you'll like.

I would strongly recommend that anyone buying clothes from tesco to try them on before buying them to save the hassle of returns.

Summary: One of the better supermarket clothing lines out there.
