I always love looking at the socks in Topshop because I love little cute patterned things, especially if they can be worn on your feet! I'm usually drawn mostly to the animal or food ones, the colours and patterns are always really cute and colourful.

I've only bought a few pairs of them ( including these hotdog ones!) as they are 3 for £8 or £3.50 for a pair which is quite expensive considering they are only socks but I usually get a few pairs in my stocking at Christmas. I had to buy Primark or stores own as they were much cheaper and I have to say some of them were more comfortable to wear. They don't last as long though which shows where the price really pays off for the Topshop because I always get holes in the back of heels (I think it's because my shoes are always to big and rub) and I find the Topshop ones are much more durable and it takes longer for the holes to appear but they do fade fast.

I have since found that Tesco do a much broader range of colourfully patterned socks and for only 2 for £1.50! My mum comes back with two new pairs for me every week at the moment as the patterns are changed so regularly. The only difference is the pattern is not followed through round the bottom of the foot like Topshop ones, which can sometimes look odd but seeing as you don't really see the bottom of your feet it's not too annoying.

As much I love the Topshop socks I have found a much cheaper alternative that lasts just as long because they are cheaper I have bought more pairs so I end up wearing them all slightly less because I now have so many socks to get through before they need to washed that they last longer (I hope that makes sense...?). They are just good and the patterns just as fun!
