Advantages: Sophisticated, good quality clothes, good value, very trendy and fashionable

Disadvantages: Occasionly very ugly clothes!

In my local shopping centre, Topshop is the first shop i aim towards because i know that there will be something i will buy because of how much they change the products inside so i know i will find something different every visit, and generally because of the things they sell there. Of course there are some occasions where that doesn't happen, but that's usually because i've been so adamant to buy more clothes and i end up visiting the store the next day! I will say there are some really odd things which i find very ugly, but then again Topshop have to suit other peoples needs too! Nevertheless, it's still one of my favourite high-street clothing stores for many reasons.

This shop is aimed towards female teenagers and young adults which falls under my category, which for starters make's my shopping experience so much easier as i know there is a whole store full of stuff i can explore, unlike big stores such as Marks and Spencer's; it's for both Male and Female and for all different age groups so you have to search around the whole store for the section you like. Thats not really a big issue when i go shopping though, i just think it affects the overall apeal of the store.

I think another reason i like this shop is because the stores itself have a really nice layout and designs all around the wall, with simple colours and you get a sense of chicness, whereas for example, stores Peacocks often feels cheap, over-crowded and everything's all a bit messy and around the place.

I also have to give it to them for putting fashionable, trendy, good quality things up for sale for what i would say a good value - and when the sales come thats where the real value comes. (buy one get one free for sale items - how good is that!) Price is not my main priority when clothes shopping though - if its unbelievably pretty and a decent price, i will buy it! And thats what i find mostly happens when i'm in Topshop. Also they have a range of different clothing and accesories, to suit the needs of eccentric, glamorous sophisticated or out-going people and i think that's good so people can develop their own sense of style in one shop.

They also sell sweets and other near the tills which are really cute. I recently visited Topshop and they had a big Hello Kitty coin bank with chocolate coins which i was lost for words when i first saw it, it was amazed and bought it - little things like that sold in the front till still make this shop more appealing. In my local Topshop store, they sell Pez, lollypops, and bags of all different kinds of sweets which I think is really good for gifts as they are very nicely packaged. In bigger branches, for example the MASSIVE oxford street store, there is a whole section dedicated to sweets with pick and mix and you have a huge selection of sweets; that also applies to the clothes and accesories as there are masses of different clothes, it all depends where you go to shop for Topshop.

Overall, I think Topshop is a classy, sophisticated store with lovely clothes, and if you're a female you should definitely atleast have a browse around because i think you will be amazed. Sizes are 6 - 16.
