A cute and unique jumper from Topshop!

This is one of my more recent Topshop purchases. I saw it a few months ago but only got around to buying it last month as I was hoping it would be on sale in their end of season range, but it wasn't! I paid £26 for it which is the RRP and I do think this is slightly expensive however for a fashionable, versatile and comfy jumper I don't think it's an extortionate price and it is one of their cheaper jumpers as most range from £30-£60.

This jumper is a jersey type, lightweight but reasonably thick jumper with very slight stitch detailing on the end of the long sleeves and hem. The neckline is scooped and quite high, but not uncomfortably high. The jumper is marl grey and this is the only colour available. I like the grey colour because it is more versatile and goes well with the slogan/design - I think if this particular design was on a more colourful jumper it would look slightly childish.

The slogan is really cute, it says "I like to ride my bicycle" with a picture of two bikes and pink love hearts. The pictures and writing look like they have been drawn on as they're in a handwriting style rather than a font, and the bikes look like they have been sketched. The love hearts as I said are pink and it looks like someone has coloured them in with a pink highlighter. I really like the whole drawn-on effect as it looks so unique and cute.

This is quite a longline jumper and it comes just above mid-thigh on me, but as it's quite a lightweight jumper it doesn't bulk up under jeans/shorts when tucked in. I have recently been wearing it with pale blue jeggings and it looks really nice, and it also looks nice with pretty much any other type of trousers. The only thing is that it is quite well fitting. I tried a 10 on in the changing rooms (I am a size 8 but as i'm pregnant I wanted something more loose) and a 10 was skin tight, even on my arms, so I decided to get a size 14 for the ultimate cosy and slouchy look for days when I just can not be bothered to mess about with getting all done up.

I usually wear a thick vest under this and then a snood around my neck, and it keeps me warm enough, and it's mid-november so I think that's pretty good. It is too thin for this weather and even colder weather unless layered. It feels really good quality and it's soft and smooth to the touch. It is made of 100% cotton and is machine washable. It washes well and I usually wash it at 40 degrees. No shrinking/bobbling/fading, etc.

Sizes available are 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16. It is also available in Topshop's petite range. Overall, I really like this jumper and I reccomend it.
