“ Brand: Topshop / Type: Swim Wear / Binkini „
I'm going on holiday soon and in all my excitement I have already bought loads of new clothes and other beachwear and accessories ready for when I go! I have bought quite a few bikinis lately, I reviewed one of them yesterday. Another bikini I bought recently was this black one, which personally I think is slightly more classy than the other I bought, which was a leopard print one from River Island that I reviewed a couple of days ago. This one is quite similar pricewise, costing £28 for both the top and bottoms, which makes it only £3 more expensive.
I read in a magazine once and have heard since too that women with smaller boobs should go for bandeau bikinis, and especially ones with ruffles, frills or other detail on the front. Triangle bikinis are supposed to be good as well but personally I much prefer the look of bandeau bikinis. I think the style just suits me. This bikini in particular is perfect for girls/women with small boobs as it has both a bandeau top and frill detail on the front. So if you have big boobs this might not be for you but if you have small ones then it could be.
I really like the brief to this bikini, although it is black it is made to look more detailed and feminine with some pretty frill detail at the sides. And anyway, I do like the colour black for this, as I think it makes it look more classy and quite sophisticated- more sophisticated than most bikinis on the highstreet anyway!
I've had bikinis from Nike before and had other swimsuits from other swimwear brands and the quality has always been really good, you might not expect the quality of this bikini to be as good as the quality of other bikinis, and you'd be right to be honest. This is quite thin and I can see it going see through after a few washes even though it is supposed to be machine washable. So I'll just have to try not to wear it too often, this won't be a problem anyway with all the bikinis I bought recently, I think I may have bought too many actually! But anyway this is one of my favourites for style, but perhaps it is the worst for quality.
I can't wait to wear this when I go on holiday. I wish the holiday would hurry up so I can put it on! I would definitely recommend this one, I really like it. It just loses two stars because of quality and because it was quite expensive for the standard of quality. The materials are 86% Polyamide,14% Elastane.
