... that is not the case with this top. The material is quite thick and it is made of 95% cotton and 5% elastane. I have also had no problems with colours running in any of the 3 tops I own.
This top costs £18 in Topshop and ask like to consider items in 'price per wear' I consider these tops good value. A similar style of top can probably be bought elsewhere for cheaper, however I think a few extra pounds is worth it to get the good quality of this top. This Topshop peplum top is available in a range of colours. I own it in black, white and red but i have seen it in store and online in a wide variety of really lovely colours. The top is a vest top that is fitted at the top and then flares out at the waist. This top has a zip on the back which goes about a third of the way down the top. The zip can be opened to make it easier to get on, as the top is quite fitted. I have worn this top in a variety of ways. If you have read any of my previous reviews you will know that Topshop is my favourite high street store. I don't tend to buy basics like this from Topshop because their prices do tend to be higher than the likes of Primark. This review is of the plain black peplum top. Peplum, for those who don't tend to follow the trends is the name given to the shape and fit of the top. It is very fitted at the top and then from the waist it flares out and is loose fitting. I first saw this peplum style top in my nearest Topshop available in black or cream. I thought it looked smart but feared the price would put me off as clothing is usually quite expensive in Topshop, but I was surprised to see this priced at only £16. Other peplum tops that I have seen almost identical to this by other retailers have been priced at over £20. I decided to try it on as I usually am a size 8 but a lot of Topshop clothes I need to buy in a bigger size as they tend to be a smaller fit.
