      A nice top

I love this top! It's quite a recent purchase but i've got loads of wear out of it so far as it's so versatile and comfy. I paid £20 for this which isn't too bad for a Topshop vest in my opinion although it is definetly much more than you would expect to pay for something similar in a shop such as Primark or New Look, so I do think with Topshop it is more paying for the brand than the actual product.

The top is quite simple really, it's a white tank top with draping arm holes and a slogan on the front. I love the draping arm holes but they do expose quite a bit so it's best to wear a bandeau if you're wearing this on its own but under a cardi no one can see so it doesn't really matter! I usually wear a bandeau under mine for when i'm out and about in town or whatever but if I wear this to a casual party or a friends house I usually layer a floral bralet underneath as it makes the top look a bit sexier from the side lol.

The top has a scooped neck which is a bit too high for my liking so I have cut mine to be a little deeper and show some cleavage as it was way too clingy around my neck for my liking and it didn't really flatter my body shape in its original style. I don't mind the fact that it is oversized but oversized and high necks don't mix in my opinion lol. It's not massively oversized but it has a nice slouchy feel to it which I like as it makes it ideal to just put on when i'm off to tesco or town - it's nothing special so I don't keep it just for special occasions as it is quite casual and not excactly eye catching. I have worn it to house parties a few times with a pair of tights as it is long enough to cover my bum and it looked quite nice.

The picture on the front of the top is a large heart which is leapord print. It's excactly as shown in the picture and has an arrow going through it which I like as it makes the top that bit more unique rather than it just been another girly top with a heart on. Because the heart is leapord print i've worn it with my Topshop leapord print leggings and it turned out looking hideous - it looked like a pyjama set lol so i'd reccomend wearing this top with jeans, plain leggings/jeggings, tights (if you're brave!) or a skirt. It's a bit too long to be tucked into skirts unless you're wearing a knee length skirt though.

Sizes available are 6-16. I am a size 8 and mine fitted well. It was comfy and although it was slouchy it didn't make me feel like I was wearing a pj top or nightie if that makes sense. It's made of polyester and vicose so is nice and soft and has a nice silky feel to it. It's quite thick so is good for winter layered under jumpers or cardi's and is also an ideal top to wear in summer because of the leapord print detail. I have washed this top plenty of times in the washing machine and it was fine. I'd definetly reccomend this as it is versatile, comfy, and not too overpriced.

A leopard print heart vest top from Topshop

Consumer pulse is absolutely fab - it keeps me in all of my Topshop clothes with the £10 voucher I receive every month. Around 1 month ago I cashed out £20 worth of Arcadia vouchers and scoured the rails of the arcadia shops which includes Dorothy Perkins, Topshop and Miss Selfridge after having no luck finding anything in either Dorothy Perkins or Miss Selfridge I had a look on the Topshop website and spotted the leopard print heart top which I loved the look of so decided to take my vouchers along to my local Topshop to try to hunt it down.

The top is an oversized white vest with draping arm holes I love the boyfriend fit to this vest as it is very on trend and cool for the warmer days. The 'draping arm holes' mean that if you turn to the side my bra would be on show so I picked up a floral bandeau top from Primark which I wear underneath it to cover up my underwear!

The cotton vest is very thin but this is designed to be a summer top so no qualms about the material. The back of the vest is what is described as 'racer back' meaning it is indented at the corners which shows some off your back off which is cute and again bang on the trend.

On the front of the vest is a leopard print love heart which sounds quite childish and I do remember wearing something similar when I was little but the style of the vest itself brings it right up to date. The love heart covers most of the top so it's not a plain design at all my only disappointment with the top (which is very small and picky) is that right above the top of the love heart is a small leopard print 'splodge' for want of a better word. This is very small and is supposed to be a 'splash' mark from the love heart but from afar it looks more like a stain which isn't very attractive! I had to check the other tops on the rail to see if this was a unique problem with the vest that I'd picked up or was part of the design.

I find I wear the top a lot despite only having it for a month or so as it goes well with leggings and covers my bum as it is quite long it also goes well with jeans for a casual look or tucked into a bodycon skirt and worn with jewellery for a night time look so it is very versatile.

Washing wise, my vest has been washed about 4 times and has kept its shape and colour. As for ironing make sure you turn it inside out before applying heat as the leopard heart may crack or peel off!
I bought this vest in my usual size 6 and it fits in all the right places despite being oversized. The top was priced at £20 but as I said I paid with a voucher. £20 is a little steep for a vest but then again I do get my wear out of it and will continue to do so.
