This basic scallop vest is available from Topshop priced at £15. I first saw this top over a year ago when Topshop brought them out in a range of different colours. I just never got round to purchasing one as I thought it was quite pricey for a 'basic' vest, like a lot of them are from Topshop.

I finally purchased this in black when Topshop were offering 20% student discount and so it was a little cheaper at £12. The material is 100% polyester and is machine washable. It does feel quite thin and so I wasn't sure how long this would last as a lot of tops I have owned that are thin material have often lost their shape after several washes. However, I have had this for around half a year now and the quality is still as good as it was when I first purchased it.

This top is quite versatile and can be worn during they day or for a night out with added accessories. When I wear this during the day I do so with just skinny jeans or shorts and tights. I have worn this for a night out before with a bodycon skirt and a necklace, but I think it would also go great with some dressy shorts too.

The top itself is meant to be a bit baggy and my usual size 8 fits me perfectly. This is available in sizes 6 up to 16.

I am not sure if this is still available in all Topshop stores, as they did originally have this available in a range of different colours but I have not seen them in stores for some time. They do still have the black one available in all sizes though on the Topshop website.
