I have purchased a few light blouses recently in hope that I will be able to wear them regularly when the sun starts shining and the weather improves a little, and this is my most recent purchase. Although I am 5ft 9, I don't usually purchase from the 'Tall' section in Topshop as I don't find i am 'too tall' to wear their normal clothes, but I came across this while walking through the shop and luckily, it fits just right.

As you can see, it has a leopard print pattern on it which I am not usually a huge fan of as I think it can often make clothes look cheap, however this is an exception in my opinion. The white shades that have been added in give it more of a classy appearance and reduce the risk of it becoming overpowering to look at. It has a collar which sits nicely and gives your shoulders a nice shape, and from there it hangs quite loosely with black buttons that can be done up or not depending on how you choose to wear it. The top of the blouse sits (on me) just about on my hips, and the back drops down to below my bum and therefore covers it, allowing me to wear leggings or jeans with it and it still looks nice. According to Topshops website, it measures 79 cm in length, so you can get an idea about how it would sit on you, but for me, it is just right.

It is made from 100% Viscose and the material is very light and it feels like you are wearing feathers almost! For me, this is a definite plus as it means it can be worn on hotter days through the summer (assuming we get some of course...) and on slightly chillier days as you can add extra layers to stop you getting cold, but still looking trendy. It can easily be worn on it own with leggings/jeans and sandals, leaving your arms bare on a warm day, or equally with a denim jacket over the top for a cooler day.

At £32 it is quite an expensive piece for what it is, albeit in line with Topshops pricing, and I could only justify spending that much by reassuring myself that I will get a lot of wear out of it (aka 'you will wear it!') and so far so good, I have worn it a fair few times. I think if it wasn't for the versatile nature of this top then I wouldn't have purchased it, but it is very on trend for this season and I think I will wear it a lot over the next few months. But equally, I can see why the price tag would put some people off. I think the quality of this blouse shines through as it is very comfortable to wear and the material isn't irritable in any way. Also, I have washed and ironed it a few times and it still looks as it did when I first got it.

This size is available from size 8 to 16 on the Topshop website and it can be located both in their stores and online. I would definitely recommend this as part of a summer wardrobe, but only if you can justify the price. Otherwise, hold on until their next sale and see if you can grab one then!
