No Fear Shock Gilet;:Junior

I am a frequent shopper at Sports Direct; you can get some amazing bargains there and I usually go in there looking for things for my son; I have also taken my daughter in there and she has found some good items of clothing too. Before Christmas I went to my local Sports Direct with my daughter and she spotted this great Gilet/Body ... warmer by 'No Fear'. The Unique thing about it, is that it has built in ear phones! I couldn't believe it when I saw it! Now they are not really high quality ear phones; they are basic really, but they do work and it is such a really good idea. This body warmer looked ideal for my son. The colour of the body warmer is black and it is hooded; it is padded but the material is soft. It has 2 outside zipped pockets (these are really useful for my son); The zipper on the pockets is orange which looks great; inside one of the pockets is the lead for the earphones; this is in built into the jacket and goes through up to two little secret zipped pockets, which are located at the top of the Gilet on the inside on both sides. In these tiny little pockets are the earphones, one on each side. You can also pull the wire through a bit, should you need it a bit longer to reach your ears. The Gilet has a zipped front; with press down buttons which are black, except the top one which is orange. A small 'No fear 'Amplifi logo is towards the top of the Gilet on the right hand side.
My son really likes this Gilet; it is ideal at this time of year; He has a few long sleeved tops which go well underneath the Giblet. It is also good for him for School. He sometimes wears his School blazer under the Gilet.
I thought the Gilet needed washing, but then I thought about the earphones; you cant really take them out of the Gilet and at that time I could not find the label that was on the Gilet to look for more information; I took a risk and made the sure the earphones and audio jack lead were zipped up in the pockets and put it in the wash. Once it was dry and my son put the Gilet back on, I asked him if the earphones still worked......and they did!! I have since found the label and I notice it states that the earphones are fully washable, and as I had thought, should be tucked into the pockets before washing.
The Gilet is made from 35% Cotton and 65% Polyester.
This great body warmer is soft and warm and is available from Sports Direct in the following age ranges;

I actually regret not buying one size bigger; At the moment this fits my son perfectly; I got him one aged 11-12 (He ill be 12 soon); but I am not sure if this will still fit him by the end of this year.
The other excellent news is the price!! It is only £13.00 !!! This is incredibly good value for money in my view. What else can I say; this is a fashionable and very useful piece of clothing; I would also recommend it to be more for boys than girls; It has to be 5 Dooyoo stars from me!!

Superdry Academy Gilet

Preppy, country rich style has been steadily creeping back into fashion for the past couple of years now and the made in Chelsea crew have made items like this a must have for this year. Obviously gilets have been around for years but now they are no longer the territory of the horsey joules crowd
This is a great version of ... the gilet as it mixes country chic with the famous superdry urban twist (in this instance, a classic gilet with a hood made of sweatshirt material to give it just the right amount of 'street style')
These are available in both mens and women's in an impressive range of colours. Women's can come up quite small and the sizes only run from xs to L (and the large would be equivalent to about a 12-14 depending on chest size). However, they are long in length (this is usually a problem for tall girls like me!) and the mens and women's are so alike that if you find you need a larger size, you could easily buy a mens and no one would be any the wiser (another thing superdry does so well, walking that fine line of stylish unisex clothing - mens and women's are often interchangeable at superdry)
Quality of this is amazing - there's a reason superdry costs so much and it's down to the fact it's not going to fall apart after a month like some of the cheap high street fashion knock offs. And if you don't like this version of the gilet, superdry has an impressive selection of more traditional or girlish styles.

Play.com Superman Hoodie

My husbands birthday was a few weeks ago, and as usual I was struggling to find him something. He is so awkward to buy for, and I wanted to find him a gift that he would at least use once. Scouring the internet, I found myself browsing through Play.com's website.
He never finds time for dvd's, he only plays one game on his X ... Box, and he isnt in to gadgets and things, so I eventually found myself looking through the clothing section. A few months ago, he bought himself a t-shirt, a blue one that has the superman logo on the front, that he loves and wears all the time, so when I caught sight of this hoodie, it immediately caught my attention.
There are two pictures of the hoodie available, one of the front and one of the back. It shows that it is a bright royal blue with a distressed picture of the superman logo on the front. There is a drop down box that shoes you the sizes available, those are small, medium, large, x large and xx large. For a more accurate size guide, there is a link to Play's sizing guide which gives you an idea in inches of the sizes.
I ordered the hoodie on a Monday, and Play now have the option of next day delivery for a small fee. I used this and received my delivery the next day, or you can still choose to have your items delivered for free which Play say will take between 3-5 working days.
When the parcel was delivered, it came in a silver postage bag, and the hoodie was inside in another clear plastic bag, so it was well protected during delivery.
I was very pleased to see the colour depicted in the photo on Plays website was very accurate and the hoodie was a lovely bright royal blue. The yellow and red Superman logo is distressed, which gives it an almost worn in kind of look, but it still stands out really well against the blue.
I ordered the hoodie in a large as my husband is almost 6 foot tall, and although he isn't particularly well built, he likes his hoodies slightly baggy. This fits him really well, its long enough so that if he reaches up high it does not ride up to expose his belly, the sleeves are the perfect length, and although I worried it would be too baggy it actually isn't and fits him really well.
I do sometimes worry when ordering clothes online that the quality of them wont be as good, but I needn't have worried with this item, as the quality of it is great, the fabric is really soft and he said the inside is just as soft and not at all scratchy or itchy. The label says it is made from 100% cotton.
I did worry that the colour of this jumper would cause it to run in the wash so I put it in a separate wash on its own with a couple of other dark coloured items but it didn't run at all and it didn't lose any of its colour or brightness.
The only problem with this hoodie was that in its first wash, the drawstring round the neck of it came out in the wash! For my husband though this wasn't a problem as he doesn't use the drawstring at all, but if anyone was to make use of the string you would have to be careful with it.
At the moment, Play.com is selling this hoodie for £24.99, and I, and my husband, would say its worth the money. I was lucky to catch this as a sale item and paid £14.99 for it which I think is a super bargain. Its already been worn several times and he has only had it for two weeks!
