Everyone deserves a £10 pair of pants

Jasmine is the first design launched by whomadeyourpants?, a co-operative of women in the UK whose circumstances would otherwise make it difficult for them to enter the jobs market. It's made from quality upcycled lingerie fabric and comes in three styles (well-cut briefs, shorts and thongs) and three colours (black, white and a vibrant pink) in sizes from 6 to 20. With net panels over the hips and a discreet bow trim, Jasmine is pretty and flattering.

For those of us accustomed to paying £10 for a pack of three or four pairs of pants it's a shock to be asked to pay whomadeyourpants?'s price of £10 a pair, but that's what pants cost when they're not subsidised by sweatshop labour. What you get is a beautifully made pair of pants that fits, looks good and washes well, posh pants that you'll want to wear every day, and heaps better than multi-pack cheapies.

I bought Jasmine pants from the whomadeyourpants? website, but I believe they'll soon be available in shops.
