“ Manufacturer: Worn By / Type: T-Shirt „
ASOS is one of my favourite clothing retailers and I usually browse the site every couple of days to see what's new/what's on offer etc.
I came across this particular tee shirt a couple of weeks ago and it instantly caught my attention as it's so cliche. This is basically a pixelated grey picture of a stag's head on a pink and white floral background, which is a mix up of styles seeing as stags are mainly slogans on grungey and hipster clothes while floral prints are seen as girly and vintage. Although the two designs are complete opposites, the contrast works well and it is certianly a fashion piece which stands out from the crowd.
At £32.00 this isn't particullary cheap, but I feel that it is worth it because it's a unique wardrobe staple as well as versatile, comfortable and good quality. The tee shirt is designed by 'Worn By', who according to ASOS work with artists, musicians and photographers in order to capture the most iconic moments in rock 'n' roll history. I'd never heard of this brand before and since purchasing this tee shirt I've checked some of their other designs out and I love them - really quirky and unique; ideal for someone who doesn't particullary like to follow generic trends and likes more unusual fashion items.
This is a really comfortable tee shirt which has tee shirt length sleeves and a scooped neckline. I like that the tee shirt sleeves are slightly baggy and I also like that although the neckline is quite high, it is wide enough to show my collarbones, which seeing as me and a majority of my friends have a weird collarbone obsession is obviously an advantage! The tee shirt is pretty long on me and it comes just below my bum, which I like as it's long enough to cover my modesty when wearing tights or leggings but not so long that it looks silly and it doesn't bulk/scrunch up around my waistline when I tuck it into skinny jeans/shorts.
This is incredibly easy to style and I find that it goes particullary well with pastel colours; colour block jeans, acid wash cut off's, bright maxi skirts and so on. The tee shirt is available in four sizes XS, S, M and L. I'm a size eight and got the small, which is slightly baggy on me but it still fits nicely and doesn't look too slubby. Material wise, this is made of pure cotton jersey which is soft and silky to the touch. It washes well and any small marks etc come out without a problem. The top is nice and lightweight making it a perfect match with a pair of shorts in the current warm weather we're having, but it wouldn't look out of place layered under a smart cardi or blazer in colder months.
Overall, this may not be to everyones taste but I personally love it & I highly reccommend it.
