I got this dress from www.boohoo.com and it cost me £15.00. The dress is available from size 8 up to about size 14. There is a large range of colours including Black, Purple, Berry, Green, Teal, Red, Mustard and other colours. In totally there are at least 7-9 colours to choose from. Each dress comes with a black skinny belt.

I have seen similar style dresses to this one in a number of different shops and on a number of different celebrities. The dress is called a Skater dress and comes in a large range of different colours and sizes. The dress looks quite short, how-ever I was surprised when I received it that it's actually longer than it looks. This type of dress is available to buy in a range of different pattern's including stripes and spots. The dress itself it made from a thick material which is quite nice as it doesn't look too cheap and isn't a thin looking material. The material feels soft and has a slight feel of wool to it. I had previously tried on one of these dresses in a shop and it unfortunately made my legs look quite big, how-ever I loved the style of the dress so I decided to take a chance and purchase one from boohoo.com instead. The dress has a fitted top to it which has a nice round neck-line. The bottom half of the dress is quite flowing and does come out slightly, because of the way the bottom of half of the dress flows, this shape of dress is perfect for most body shapes and sizes as it's quite flattering and isn't tight fitting round the bum or the legs. The dress is sleeveless which is nice as you can just wear it with a little cardigan or jacket when going out. In terms of length of the dress it comes about 2 inches above my knee so this dress can easily be worn in the day as well. With the dress you also get a nice, black skinny belt, so you can tighten the dress around the waist-line, this tucks the dress in a little and doesn't make it look so plain. I ordered the purple coloured dress which is a nice dark purple. I didn't really want to go for a black dress as I own too many black dresses and I thought if I got a nice colour I could easily wear this during the day with black tights.

The dress fit's my frame really nicely. I haven't got a big bust, so it doesn't make me look too top heavy. I have a slim figure and when I tried on a dress like this previously it made my legs look a little big so I was worried this dress was going to do the same. How-ever it really compliments my body shape and it doesn't make my legs look chunky as the previous dress. As this dress is a reasonable length, I have also worn it in the day with black tights when going out for a meal with my boyfriend and his mum. I have already considered buying the dress in another colour as it's suitable for a number of occasions. The skinny black belt that comes with the dress can be removed, for when washing the dress and you can also put in a gold or silver belt to dress it up a bit more if you are wearing it for a night out. This is a lovely dress and is well worth treating yourself to one.
