Recently there's been a growing popularity of skater dresses and luckily for me I was already a fan and this trend just meant I could grab myself a dress for less than it would cost if it was still unpopular. I've shopped online on Boohoo.com frequently as they have a huge range of clothing items for both men and women and their prices are very reasonable. This particular dress cost me £15 which comparing it with a store of similar quality such as Topshop where a dress like this could sell for as much as £40, this is very reasonable and much more in my price range. Currently this dress is for sale at £10 on Boohoo because of it being the end of the season and comes only in size 14.

The material is quite thick and so it falls nicely and the pleats look good. The belt singes in the waist making you look slimmer and despite looking very short it isn't too small (but then again I'm pretty short myself so that could be me, it comes to midway down my thigh). The dress is sleeveless which arguably makes it look even more slimming as it goes straight down. The style is very current and yet is also quite timeless.

The dress comes in a variety of colours including teal, red, black, purple, pink, yellow/mustard (as shown in the picture) and I've also seen other similar skater dresses on the website which are near identical but have patterns like stripes. Being that the dress is very feminine I tend to think the pale colours make you look extra dainty as it were, but then again the dress looks equally nice in very dark striking shades.

I am quite top heavy and pretty short and yet the dress still looks quite good on me and fits considerably well. The material is soft which is something I wasn't too sure about because sometimes thicker materials feel a little too hot and heavy for me.

The dress can also be bought on ebay now as many different online stores there tend to stock it. They tend to be priced at a very reasonable £10 (not including postage) and so if you are looking for more variety and a good price I'd recommend looking there.

Overall this is definitely a product I would recommend as it is very flattering, fits well and when they are well stocked can be purchased in a large variety of colours to suit any taste.
