Wrangler are a fashion label that I believe originally started out as a manufacturer of work clothes and the like. They now have stores all over the country and the label is also available overseas. They do mainly denimwear, and casualwear for both men and women.
The last pair of jeans that I bought were Wrangler. I was happy with my shopping experience in the store - the salesperson was very helpful and relatable. She helped me pick out jeans that would suit my figure, and was very patient while I tried on a million pairs (well a girl has to be sure!).
In the end I picked a man-style, bootleg cut, and I was very impressed with the way that the jeans were cut to fit a woman's curves - many popular labels don't take those curves into account and seem to be made for girls with boy's figures!
The jeans fit great and because they are 100% cotton, they don't stretch out of shape but rather gradually mould more to your own body. This does of course mean that they are quite stiff when you are 'breaking them in'.
Two months on from my purchase though and I must say that I am not so impressed with the durablity. The jeans still look great and haven't stretched (which is important as I often find this happens with jeans), but I can see definite patches on the bum where the denim is starting to wear. I am concerned that I will end up with holes before 6 months is out! To me that is simply not long enough - denim is supposed to be a hard-wearing fabric and jeans should last at least a year before fraying I think.
I did get the jeans on special though - only 35 pounds, so I guess it was worth a try! I would consider buying Wrangler jeans again, because of the good service I received and the good fit, but if they do wear out as fast as they seem to be, I will only buy them again if they're on sale!
I have bought Wrangler Jeans for well over five years now, although I sometimes look for a different make,I still return to these old faithfuls. I wear Wrangler "Roxanne" they are slim fit and stretchable.I am only a sickening size to some people ten. These Jeans show off my figure really well, they fit comfortably around My hips, waist and bum.Unlike other makes where the bum is baggy, the waist huge and they feel totally uncomfortable. Wrangler are so well made they last me ages. Being a mum I spend a lot of time on my knees playing on the floor with my children, this area tends to fade through doing this, but its not happened with these Jeans. They wash brilliantly keeping their colour and shape when dry. They are made of good thick denium although not to heavy and are available in Black and stonewash. They used to be quite expensive at £38-£45 a pair.I have found then reduced in Littlewoods for ages for £23.So I have bought a few pairs to last a while at that price. With rigid Jeans I find them especially uncomfortable when you sit down in them as they tend to dig into you, thats why these Jeans are so good to wear as they stretch to fit comfortably.
Wrangler, do not only in my opinion manufacture some of the best jeans around, but their footwear is very good value also. Strong, fashionable, stylish and reasonably priced. My husband has for years worn their shoes, and a pair seems to last for years, good thick leather means they dont split or wear easily and the soles are great. For around £40 you can pick up a pair of boots or shoes for either sex and you can depend on their quality. Not one of the most common names but they stand the test of time and dont wear or break so what more can you ask of a shoe?
