A cute and well priced product

Do you need to keep your childrens tootsies warm and toasty? Are you feeling fed up with telling them to keep their slippers on? If so why not consider a pair of Yo Gabba Gabba Slipper Socks? We bought some of these as we thought they were a bit of fun that would also encourage them to be worn by our child, as repeating 'why aren't you wearing slippers?' often wears very thin.

These simple little slipper socks were cheap to by, certainly cheaper than Totes slipper socks are and they come form a reputable store, so when we bought ours we hoped they would prove to be a good buy. When it came to reviewing these, they were not listed on Dooyoo but as they have now been added, its time to give you the low on on these fun little slipper socks.

Our Yo Gabba Gabba Slipper Socks were the ones shown in the piccy, also known as Brobee. The odd little characters from the popular Yo Gabba Gabba tv programmes are Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee and Plex. We picked Brobee as our slipper sock character as we liked his odd little expression and thought our child would like these the most.

When we picked out our Yo Gabba Gabba Slipper Socks they were a nice bargain buy at £3. When you compare this to the price of some other slipper socks brands/ designs, this is quite a good price. We could also have picked Todee socks in a bright turquoise, Muno socks in an orangey red tone, Plex socks in banana yellow or Foofa socks in mid pink. Our choice being the Brobee design is in a lime green shade which we found our child liked.

With the Yo Gabba Gabba Slipper Socks being just £3 we were very pleased with the way they have lasted. They are a Sock Shop product so we thought they would be a good buy. They come in sizes 6 to 8 1/2 and sizes 9 to 12. The slipper socks are made from 99% polyester and 1% elastane so they are very durable with a nice amount of give. This makes them easy for a child to slip on themselves.

We found these can be worn on their own or with a thinner pair of socks underneath. The sizing seems true to fit and the slipper socks are easy to wash and dry. When we bought our slipper socks they came with a simple card hand tag that had a piccy of Brobee on and clearly showed the socks were his socks, so that our chid could make the association.

With these socks the characters face is shown and has the same expression that Brobee does, but as the socks are stripe free (Brobee has stripes) they don't look as authentic as they might have done. Even so the expression shown is true to Brobees own, so our child has enjoyed having them.

The bottom of the slipper socks has a series of small green rubberised dots which mean the socks give a certain amount of grip when worn. I don't feel these offer as much anti slip capability as Totes tread patterns do, but these have still been a popular choice with our child.

Over all as these are much cheaper to buy than Totes slipper socks, yet they still have a good medium thickness and a soft fluffy texture. I fee they do work well so with everything in mind our Yo Gabba Gabba Slipper Socks get a 4 star product rating.
