Lexmark X6575 Professional ... recently bought this printer to replace a perfectly good 3 in 1. Why, you may ask, well the big selling point for me was the fact that the printer is wireless. I have both a desktop and laptop, and really liked the idea of being able to print from elsewhere in the house without the hassle of unplugging the desktop and plugging the laptop in. So, the printer arrived, I plugged it in and attempted to connect to the wireless network. No joy. It turns our that it is not enough to simply have a wireless broadband hub - like my orange home hub. What I didn t appreciate was that you actually need a router - which you can buy from any computer store for around £40. Once I had w... HP Officejet Pro L7680 All-in-One ... am really not a fan of this machine. It does have its uses I suppose, like being able to scan to a network, but will only actually work if you turn it on & off a few times, so if you have your heart set on this one, I hope you have patience! The quality of the prints is generally good & has the facility to do broadcast faxing on numbers you are able to input through the computer, making it slightly quicker to organise & will print off a list of the results of each fax. I suppose it s quite small in comparison to having a seperate machine for each of its uses, but it will only really do one thing at a time, so I can really on see that as its advantage... W... I ordered it from HP for £199.99 and it came a day later which i was surprised and very pleased with. Elsewhere i could find the printer in the price range of £200-£250. I unpacked the box and took everything out. Everything was in the box that was supposed to be.
