I have had my printer/fax/scanner for 2 and a half years now - it replaced an earlier Brother model with the same functions. Although it is chunkier than other makes, it has on the whole been reliable, although just at the moment it seems to be having a funny time and is not printing without being turned off and then on again. However, the back up service is excellent and if it cannot be sorted out by resetting over the phone, the engineers come out very swiftly. On the down side is the strange 2 tiered paper feed arrangement which is probably more useful if you are wanting to use two different types of paper, or papers and label sheets.
