Whilst this printer coped well as not only my printer, but my photo-copier and scanner aswell, it was plagued with problems from day one. there is a few reasons not to buy this close companion, a Brother is made for adversity but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, I don't mean the mouse. This is a simple but effective machine it's not quick as it often decides to clean itself while your trying to use it, if it's been standing a while, and you have to be patient while it's in the shower. It's quite easy to use with reasonable quality I would recomend higher grade paper if using the colour print option for any other use than personal family pikky's. MY EXPERIENCE. I use a fax machine everyday in my job, I'm always faxing internal and external customers various literature and information. We did have a very old fax when i started her last in august 2003, it was very slow indeed, the pages went through about 1 every 30 seconds at times, and the paper used was the horrible fax rolls type, which got jammed up inside it every now and again, which is very annoying.
