      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Great Home Printer but it is quite a challenge to get working just right!

The Canon MF-4370 dn is a "better than average" home use printer. Even though the laser cartridge is very expensive (around 60-70 pounds), the cartridge will last up to one year printing on average 1-5 pages per day.

      Quality and Speed:

Overall, the printing quality on the Canon MF-4370 dn is spectacular. I find that my Canon laser prints in finer detail than most high end "office grade" printers at work. At 22 Pages per Minute, the Canon MF- 4370 dn is surely no "slacker". Most definitely, the Canon Laser MF-4370 dn is much faster and more precise than my other Canon color printer and more efficient on ink. For printing daily documents and spread sheets, the Canon Laser printer is a good buy. If you are planning on printing a lot of color pictures, I would not recommend the Canon MF-4370 dn to you because it is not a color printer.

      Fax:

The Fax feature on the Canon MF-4370 dn is a downer. I have my Fax set on answering machine connect which is suppose to pick up a fax after it detects a incoming fax. Often, I come home to hear a message on my answering machine just to hear half a message then the Fax cut off my message to pick up a fax (which had never come in). I have tried many modes but none of them except manual mode seem to work for me. In manual mode, you have to physically push a button on the printer to receive a fax.

      Networking:

The Canon MF-4370 dn is a networking printer ("n" in "dn" stands for network). I have my Printer hooked up to my wireless router threw a ethernet cable. Although the printer is not wireless, I can wirelessly print from my laptop using my wireless router. This works very well except for when the printer is in energy saver mode. I have turned energy saver mode completely off since every time I went to print and the printer was in energy saver mode, I got an error and would have to restart my printer.

      The Bottom Line:

Although the Canon MF-4370 dn is a great printer, you will find yourself spending quite a lot of time trying to set it up and figuring it out when some features are not working properly.
