Canon Multipass L60 ... scales for superb graphics. Print onto plain paper from a handy 100-sheet paper tray or overhead sheets, envelopes and labels. When you need copies just turn to the MultiPASS L60 for instant, high quality output, without leaving your desk. The Dual access feature allows multiple tasks to be performed such as receiving faxes while you are printing, copying or scanning - you also have the option to send or receive faxes even when your PC is switched off. The Optical Character Recognition scanning software (not included in all countries) allows printed text to be scanned into your PC and converted to text format without the hassle of retyping. Also scan in photos, drawings and designs. Control all scanning, printing and faxing operations direct from your PC. It's easy with Desktop Manager Software, and the clear, drag and drop graphical interface.

know (or care) why - you just can't use this feature of windows. The software frequently refuses to install which means a complete restart of windows and unplugging the MultiPASS (as there is no off or reset switch). I thought this was just my old Win98 Laptop but it does it (less frequently) on my new desktop. Other than that its just minor irritations. The fax headers don't have enough space for your message, the scanning software can't scan several pages to one document etc. Most annoyingly of all, if you have the single black cartridge in, (rather than the colour) every time you print a letter you have to go into the printer set up menu and tell it ...
