Canon PIXMA MX300 , though it does not cost as much as those in the market, the brand name says it all.The best thing i admired about this piece pf product is the quality of the output. When we make a copy of a document or picture by scanning and then taking a print, at times it will be hard to differentiate which copy is original and which one is the copy. The printing quality is so good, but the draw back is that it takes hell a lot of ink for the prints which reduces the number of prints taken drastically. It has features like copier, printer, scanner and fax.As we know the cartridges of these printers cost us a really huge amount, this one cannot be used to take ...

Oh Wow! What a machine! For the money that you pay you do really get a good loking, well performing unit that comes with good software that will help you do alot. It will configure your Duplex scanning showing you exactly what to do and when to do it. I only have one gripe though. It is a fax machine that likes to hog the line when you do not answer the phone. My previous unit, an HP 4252, would listen into the answerphone and if it detected a fax it would then intervene and accept it. After reading the manual for the MX310 it still aquires the connection after two rings and if it is a voice call, will still try to force the acceptance of the fax. I have yet to work out how to ...

We recently purchased this unit to replace a HP G70 all in one unit which we had been using for 2-3 years. Straight away it is obvious how technology had come on. It was much smaller - and the print quality is now almost up to laser standard (we only used to use the HP for colour and faxes as the quality wasn't up to much). The unit uses 5 cartridges - one large black and 4 smaller ones - which are economical to buy. The software interface is good and easy to set up. The unit is ultra quiet - and in 'quiet mode' you can hardly hear it. It is also nearly as fast as our laser. My only critisim is that the control panel on it isn't the easiest to use and ...
