Canon Smartbase MP390 ... 6 mths ago as home office all-in-one. All functions work well within the home user limitations but not recommended for heavier users. Print quality is good in black & white but colour prints are not true to original. Ink reservoirs are very small so need changing too frequently. Scanning is excellent and hinged lid allows books to be copied/scanned. Direct card reader allows digital pic printing direct from memory card, but again some problems with clour accuracy. Faxing can be a drag as limited to single sheet memory feed, before sending en-masse. Initially impressed by the Star Trek noises emitted during operation, but they now drive me crazy as ev... Canon Multipass C75 ... machine is an update on the Mutipass C70 which is the machine I have. All I can hope is that they have substantially upgraded the software, functuality and durability of this machine because mine has the most irritating habits! The software is dreadful. Firstly the C70 will not work with multiple users on the same machine on Windows XP. Canon don't seem to know (or care) why - you just can't use this feature of windows. The software frequently refuses to install which means a complete restart of windows and unplugging the multipass (as there is no off or reset switch). Canon Multipass C50 ... Multipass C530 – Fax-Printer-Scanner-Copier ============================================ I have posted this opinion here as I am quite certain that the C50 is the same as the C530. The Canon MultiPass C530 is extremely easy to set up. In the beginning, it's a little confusing to operate which is due to its many functions. Once you get the hang of it, then its really quite easy to operate. The printer function is just as easy as any other printer (although I don’t print much with this as I already have an HP Printer), and the printing and copying quality is reasonably good.
