Advantages: Most of it
Disadvantages: bit of a pain to set up
We were in need of a cheap, good quality printer thats reliable, will work well and is not too complicated for me. H is an IT Geek and this is what we got according to him the cartridges are a good price and Epsons are of a decent enough quality for your standard home use.
Part of the appeal at the time was the price I have to admit for what it does its a bargain.
As a printer its fantastic, rattles off copies quickly and efficiently- no smudging clear definition. Black and white is good and colour is great very good colouring- accurate to say the least. Asfor printing pictures it gives quite simply fantastic reproductions.
As a photocopier its great aswell very quick and very clear even on reproduction of a glossy magazine cover that was detailed and highly coloured.
With regards to usage- it is very simple and easy to use, a nice lcd screen with simple to use reactive buttons. Very easy to change cartridges, even for me!
To be honest although there are other functions ie fax these are all I have used so far.
Lookswise- its very sleek, looks very smart and business like also as it is fairly small for what it is it doesn't require much space to keep it and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Also as it is wireless you can put it anywhere there is a big enough space which leaves a lot of choices. Also it is very quiet.
The only downside was that it was a bit of a pain to install but you only do that once so I can forgive that.
All in all I would recommend this to anyone wanting a very good at home and light business work printer.
Summary: would recommend everytime
