Advantages: Very fast first print, good color rendition

We've been using this printer in the office for a few months now where it is setup as a network printer. Cannot comment on the price since I have no idea how much it costed. But I can speak about its productivity. Printing is fast and even when not used for a long time the first printed pages come out very quickly. When printing involves color it is much slower but it does produce nice quality prints with nicely balanced colors. It can be a bit noisy but most printers of this type are anyway.

But it is so much more than a printer! You can make copies, use it as a scanner and even as a fax machine. It also has a card reader for multiple card formats and can be connected to the computer directly through a high speed USB connection.

You can easily exchange the toner cartridges through one single front door and they seem to run for quite a while before you have to change them. You can get refurbished cartridges for as low as £20-25, the original ones will set you back about 3x that.

The one thing I don't like about it is the small capacity of the paper tray... You can only put in about 250 sheets which, for an office oriented machine is very little and you keep having to refill it all the time.

Summary: A good multipurpose machine but only really for small/home office
